Questions & Answers
When I make pickups, I wrap the pole pieces in 42 or 43 wire to give them a tight grip. After that, I test the pole pieces by wrapping wire around them and measuring the Ohms. It looks like the spools of wire you are showing are about right for the ones I use, 42 or 43.
The answer is yes. The resistance of the circuit is being determined by the temperature dependence of the resistor in a physics experiment.
There is no AWG for this topic.
The polyurethane used in this coating is enamel. As a generic term, we use the term enamel, but we can be more specific if we say this is a Polyurethane enamel.

This is the product I use every day, and it is reliable, consistent, and well-made. It's always a pleasure doing business with Remington if you need to deal with them at any point.
My first order worked well for building pickups from scratch. Fast shipping and on time arrival. Using it, I built a good low-output, scatter wound coil that was a lot of fun to use. In my capacity as a novice pickup maker, I ordered more to continue my experiments. I gave this pickup 4 stars because I cannot rate it for professionals since I am not one, however as a novice I definitely gave it.
A consistent stream of material came off the spool. Using a rewinder, I was able to rewind a vintage guitar pickup to a great result.
I was pleased with the package and it was ready for use when it arrived.
It is as good as or better than the more expensive wire I have used for some applications. Per wind, the ohms are very consistent. The winding process didn't result in many breaks. A scatter wind has a bright tone.
In its natural state, this wire has a very fine diameter. Several of the miniature coils I used for my electric motors used it. It's great stuff at a great price. I'll be able to use the one thread for a long time. Furthermore, I did not experience any difficulties in taking the thread off.
I enjoyed it a lot.
We couldn't have asked for a better delivery and packaging experience! It looks like the wire spool will work great. Although I have not wound guitar pickups with it, I'm sure it will!.
