A tablespoon of water was poured out of the gear and motor housing after I took it apart. It states on the listing that it is designed for outdoor use I love it! I suggest, if you need an actuator that is even partially exposed to the weather (which is what I do) that you choose option #1 or two. This is not a good buy #2. I really like the quality of this product. It looks and performs exactly like the description says it will. Unfortunately, two of the screws on the outside of the body interfere with the housing I planned on putting it into, so I have to return the item. In order to calculate the size of this unit that was not given by the other dimensions, I came up with the following formula. The rest of the time it works flawlessly and is very powerful when connected to 12 volts. I would recommend the brackets and I believe they can be customized easily if you needed to. If this unit had worked for me, I would have been very happy with it.

Exactly what I was looking for

I bought this lift to install a router on my desk. I find it to be very convenient. The extension is fairly quick, as fast as I can manage it. Ten watts of power is all it takes to lift 35 pounds I am running at 8 amps). We will have to wait and see what kind of quality we get in time. As the unit seems to be well sealed, I don't expect any dust problems, and there won't be any water problems since it will be installed inside. Thank you so much for the speedy service. An A+ grade.

I have no problems with it

If you were using it for that, you'll be able to tell it has a nice amount of power. Basically, I was just controlling the throttle position of a small equipment engine, so having no significant force was not a problem. Just the right amount of speed, neither too fast nor too It appears to be a good quality and I have no reason to fear that it will fail in the near future.

I installed this on a snowblower chute and it works great. I was able to apply it to Despite not being fast, it has plenty of power despite being 25 degrees below normal. It is a product I would purchase for other projects and will purchase again.
