The fittings are of good quality

The threads of a plastic fitting on the gas spring attached to the tractor door started to strip and fall off. I replaced the plastic fitting with a better quality steel fitting to solve the problem and improve the build quality.

The fitting is sturdy

There is no plastic. I bought this to replace a broken plastic fitting. The price was well worth it. Even prior to the fitting process It is greasy.
