The set screw threads have plenty of depth thanks to the solid construction

One of these was used to fix a motorized animated deer (a Christmas decoration) whose motor had failed - Although the replacement shaft had the correct diameter, it did not extend far enough out of the housing. br>br>Because these couplers are thick, there is plenty of threading for the set screws to work with. Each coupler holds four screws, and two couplers were included in the package, along with an allen wrench that fit the job, as shown. br>br>I only wish I had found some that were a little shorter - My repaired assembly is about 1/2 inch taller than I'd like it to be - These couplings, however, are not to blame for this.

Good Fit and High Quality

The fit is perfect, and the brass appears to be of excellent quality. allowing a 7mm shaft to pass through. I like how thick it is and how the set screws are hidden beneath the surface rather than sticking out like some others I've seen. I used these with a flange coupling to make an epoxy turner. The quality of the product wowed me.
