The collet is well made. The style connection is very effective; just remember to back out the set screw before tightening the collet clamp bolt. I also need to bore the 12mm end to 1/2 inch (12. For my application, I needed a thickness of 7mm. I used a lathe to accomplish this. I was able to measure the run-out after installing the coupler in my lathe. out of a total of 001 inch. It's really good!.
