What is the current state of the misalignment?

These parts have made me very happy. On my laser engraver, it's used to replace a cheap brass coupler. I like how the machined cuts between the two ends add flexibility and spring action if things are slightly out of alignment.

This thing is a lot bigger than I expected it to be, measuring 35mm in width

I suppose it would have been nice if you had read that the diameter was 35mm wide, but it clamps tightly and does its job otherwise.

Much more powerful than spiral couplings

After a spiral coupling on my CNC router self-destructed, I decided to try a few of these. They're a lot bigger and have a lot of clamping power. They'll probably last a long time, in my opinion.

Couplings of excellent quality

These were used to power my CNC mill's ball screws. To fit my servo motor, I had to bore out one end to 5/8", but everything else is true and concentric, with no backlash. More will be purchased in the future for other projects.

So far, this is the best coupler I've used

I've tried a variety of online couplers, including the "spider" and "coil" types, and these are by far the best, with no wobble. They are a little more expensive, but they are well worth it.
