HTR (high temperature rubber) is used to transfer and absorb shock loads.

To avoid electrical arcing and circuit shortages, electrical isolating is used.

On the engine side, it connects to a flanged hub, a flywheel adapter plate, or a flywheel, and on the driven equipment side, it connects to a cylindrical hub.

Compensates for angular misalignment of coupled shafts by bending up to 3 degrees.
