In theory, it's a good idea, but proceed with caution

When tightening down the attachment, I highly recommend adding some sort of loctite or other glue, as the changing of directions, rotation, and movement when taking cups on and off the turner has caused them to completely unscrew at the base, which I was unaware of prior to ruining three cups because the pieces fell apart. after only three days of use.

The fact that it does not reflect US measurements is a major disadvantage. I spent an extra $20 on pieces that needed to be corrected.
