Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
Durable enameled copper wire that will not break while winding coils. Extremely effective!
Copper wire with a thin layer of insulated enamel on it is known as magnet wire. This magnet wire is 16AWG, which means it has a diameter of 1. (123 feet) 0 lb The copper strands conduct electricity, and the insulation protects the coiled wire from short-circuiting by being made of modified polyester with a Polyamideimide overcoat.
Premium enamel insulation is used to construct this varnished copper wire. It is suitable for a variety of thermal overload applications due to its temperature rating of 155°C (311°F). According to the NEMA MW-35-C standard, raw copper is drawn to specific size requirements.
16 gauge enameled magnet wire, wrapped on a spool, natural color. 0.25 inch outside diameter 0492" for the ideal thickness
Transformers, wound coils, motors, solenoids, instruments, inducers, speakers, electromagnets, and other applications requiring tight coils of insulated wire are all made with BNTECHGO magnetic copper wire.

Questions & Answers

Is it necessary to scrape the coating before soldering this wire?

At 680°F, soldering through the coating was not a problem for me.

What is the length of the piece?

The length of BNTECHGO 24 AWG enameled copper wire 4 oz is approximately 190 feet.

What's the time frame here? I require 200 feet of distance. ?

The length of BNTECHGO 30 AWG Magnet Wire 4 oz is approximately 820 feet.

Has anyone attempted to use this in a craft project? Do you have a thing for copper-colored trees?

It's what I use to make radio coils. br>However, I can see it all bunched up as an armature for trees in HO scale or 25mm scale terrain. However, it is quite costly. For the trunks and largest branch structures, I'd use tightly twisted newspaper, and floral wire for the smaller branches. Spackling is used to add texture.

There isn't always a need for a thorough examination

Copper wire was exactly what we needed for my daughter's science fair project; we ordered copper wire and received copper wire. Malleable, conductive, and corrosion-resistant; Copper wire is what it is.

The quality is poor
3/5

To avoid shorting to the core, I wound a toroid covered in teflon tape. Windings arced to each other after a single use. I hadn't even come close to reaching the recommended temperature or current ratings. So I rewound with a new piece of this wire, thinking it was a fluke, and it lasted about the same amount of time and shorted between turns. br>br>I rewound the toroid with a different brand of wire with the same ratings, and it's been fine since. The enamel coating is obviously of poor quality.

Exactly as depicted

This item looked exactly like it did on the website. It's about the same size as a standard thread spool. I don't have any complaints about the product, but shipping was a bit of a headache. I believe a signature was required for this delivery. It was not delivered on the scheduled delivery date. br>I paid $9 to have it rediscovered, and when I received it, the mailer envelope was covered in shoe prints. It's a good thing it wasn't delicate glass, because it was copper wire. br>The final delivery was a disaster. Everything I order from Amazon usually arrives quickly and in good condition. br>Aside from that, I received exactly what I ordered and am completely satisfied with the product.

I'm rewinding the magneto for a 3 horsepower International governor controlled (hit-and-miss) engine with 22 gauge copper magnet wire. Miss) antique engine. Extremely pleased with the quality, availability, and great service I received getting this product to repair my clients traveling shop vintage engine. I now have a high quality source for this copper magnet wire for my customers antique ignition systems that allows them to keep their engines original while also maintaining the high quality standard expected of these top of the line work horses on farms across our country.

POOR QUALITY! After less than one amp, 36AWG burns! The gauge of 36AWG is as fine as a strand of hair! Just to let you know, that's how big this thing is! br>I gave it a low rating because I can't get more than 1 amp with this stuff on fire! And, while they did provide us with ACCESS to both ends, it was only that: ACCESS! You're screwed if any of it comes off! At the very least, they should give me an INCH, and TWO would be even better! br>Like another reviewer stated, the quality is poor, and I cannot recommend it! Before purchasing, I should have read more reviews!

For projects, this wire is ideal

Built a dc motor as part of a physics project. The current used was approximately 20 amps. It's still in good condition. The wire will begin to sizzle if you go any further.
