Those joints are top grade Messerschmitt products (called Heim - after the company that copied the Messerschmitt products). For the drag link, tie rod end, and clutch rod end I use these spherical rod ends The steering and suspension of my 4x4 are equipped with a panhard rod and a steering rod. Designed for long-lasting performance, these FK units still outlast rubber bushings. The rod ends on the steering rods have a spherical shape and cause much less wear and tear. About 15K miles into the driver's life, the rod ends are a little loose.
