There are 88 teeth on this belt from Stens It is cut in half As a result of this shorter belt, the transaxle will not be able to stop completely when the clutch pedal is pressed. At least initially, during training, the belt will stretch. This will cause the internal pump and internal brake of the transaxle to work against each other. This could cause the transaxle to overheat. There has to be a complete stop from the transaxle. The John Deere belts are rubber instead of Kevlar, and I have to use a different belt for that model of tractor. This application does not require rubber belts to last very long. Stens's half-measure to address the slippage in GX20006 would seem to be the solution to the issue It's a good idea to use a belt that is about an inch shorter since the OEM rubber belt will stretch right away upon This is the D specification. It is far superior to the rubber belt in quality, comfort, and size) in an aftermarket brand Kevlar material, and it will be installed shortly. Kevlar belts are really what are needed when an idler pulley set is used since they don't stretch like rubber belts, and they can run at a cooler temperature than rubber belts and run at a cooler temperature than rubber belts. Using rubber belts in my applications would be too difficult because rubber belts are too rigid therefore, I cannot use them.
The thing with this belt review is you have to install it, then reinstall your mower deck to see if everything works as expected. The belt here isn't quite up to snuff as it is slightly too long in comparison to a genuine John Deere belt. This can result in it slipping a little when a load is put The fact that it can't be removed just to return it proves that it's not worth it. There is no need to remove everything again to replace it, as it is much easier to put up with Mowing with it until I tire of the slippage then changing it with a genuine JD belt will be my solution.
In the belt there was more length Spec) than the original John Deere GX20006 belt, by approximately 1/2 inch The width of the band is 3/4 inch. Due to this, the belt on my John Deere LA145 Lawn Tractor started to slip and would cause my tractor to stall on the slight uphill. The Transmission Drive belt does not necessarily need to be replaced or removed in any particular way There are lots of parts that must be disassembled and then reassembled during installation, so it is a time-consuming process. As part of my attempts to diagnose why my lawn tractor would not move, I removed and reinstalled this belt at least 2 times (not including the original belt). Every time I looked at the belt, I thought I had installed it wrong, or I had routed it the wrong way around the pulledeys or idlers. Normally, my lawn tractor has the same drive power as a brand new tractor once the GX20006 belt is installed, so I ordered a genuine John Deere belt. Those steep hills in my yard could be climbed with gusto by it. Stens belt was originally ordered because I needed the belt as soon as possible. The seller was an Amazon Prime participant (with 2 day shipping), and clearly stated it was designed to replace John Deere GX20006. Although, I found this Stens belt to be a hassle and time-sink. Your experience may be different.
You only need to order The belt is listed on the John Deere parts list for the "geared" transmission and it worked perfectly. With a hydrostatic transmission, I can move forward and backward. That's all. Be sure to double check your order before you place it. Belts manufactured by John Deere come with the original part number stamped on If you are measuring the circumference of a belt, measure its outside circumference.
As if peeling off an onion, the leather on this belt has started peeling off in layers. The seam looked strange at first, but I figured that it was made in the good ol' USA so it should be fine. This is incorrect. I have to do about 2 hours worth of work again now that I have a genuine JD belt. Although it does fit a 42" deck, it is longer than the old belt I had wore for 12 years.
It is important to be cautious when buying. Despite what the advertisement stated, this does not fit the John Deere L110. A 88-inch TV promises 66 inches, but in reality it measures In order for the L110 to work, it needs an 88-inch belt.
After one year, it is still functioning well. Neither a stretch nor deterioration can be detected.
I was very satisfied with it.
