Will this stainless steel somewhat resist corrosion if it's coated with zinc, aluminum, or stainless steel?

The rod end contains a small magnet that attaches to the body. The thread is nicely tapped and there are no tears in the thread. To prepare the membrane, I used a needle file and made a few passes Nothing to be concerned about. There are brass retainers pressed into the body of the gimbal which hold it in place (since it scratches). It is zinc plated (galvanized) on the rod end body. It was my pleasure to help.
