This spring I am planning on re-building the mowing deck on my Troy Bilt Pony 42-inch mower, which has been in service for 14 years. Measurement in inches. Having watched countless videos on the internet, this is what I have concluded a machine that has had zero problems with spindles should not be adapted by adding a grease fitting and opening one side of the bearing. It's important to use sealed bearings that are sealed on both sides, as they are the more reliable type. You really need to repack with better grease on this bearing, since it seems to be of good quality. Quite a bit of factory grease is missing from them.

I bought them to replace the spindle bearings on a 46 inch MTD lawn tractor cutting deck (there were three blades) I needed six bearings. A perfect fit and smooth running is what they provide. As soon as I started the blades on the first use, I thought something was wrong because it was so silent. As usual, one star off for imported goods.

I think the product is great and the price is great. These are replacement blade mandrels for my lawn mower, but they fit perfectly. I look forward to putting them back on the mower and seeing how they perform. Both mandrels are being rebuilt for under fourteen dollars while the two new ones will cost over seventy dollars each.
