For the money, not for the love. This pack came with some tips I wanted to use with my new plasma torch, but the tips in this pack are not the same as the ones that came with the torch. They do work, but they are Starting digging sideways into the material with a scissor, cutting left or right. As soon as I tried this particular set of tips, I was floored by the new torch's cutting ability. I had been quite amazed by the new torch until this set came with these problems. There seems to be some issue with the tips/electrodes being rated at a lower amperage or something. This is where the problem lies, I believe. There is no chance I would buy this.
I'm not sure if it's my technique or the tips I'm using since this is my first experience with a plasma cutter. Though I seem to have had more luck with the tips that came with the machine, these tend to burn out more quickly. With that said, I do believe these tips are adequate for my needs. In the first few weeks of my project, I've been cutting up some old machinery for scrap with the machine (and tips). I plan on using cutter to make metal sculptures in the future, so I may update my review then.
It's not possible to thread the ceramic product onto the cutter because the ceramic threads are not straight. I just looked at my ceramic boxes and more than half of them are like this the first one damaged the threads on my cutter, so I now have to get a new cutter, The recommended course of action is not to proceed.
