Questions & Answers

Would the predator 9000 generator, which has a 7250 watt capacity, be able to power both this and your larger inverter welders?

Please accept my apologies for taking so long to respond. I had to look up what a Predator generator was because I had never heard of one before. I'd also like to clarify that I'm not a generator expert.br>br>I also wanted to double-check that I looked up the specific amperage draws of our various welders. The formula for calculating the answer to your question is simple: generators measure their output in Watts, so to figure out what wattage is required, use the formula below. Watts are calculated by multiplying the number of volts by the number of amperes. The machine you're asking about runs at 7250 continuous Watts, but that doesn't account for how much the output amperage fluctuates, how clean the machine is, or how reliable the output amperage is. I'm not sure, but let's plug the numbers in, assuming the machine can maintain a fairly consistent output. br>br>The model 155 can only draw a maximum of 25 people. 5842 watts at 4 amps on 230V in MIG mode. It has a total of 26 viewers. In stick mode, it draws 7 amps at 230V, or 6141 watts. So, yes, for this small machine, everything else appears to be in order. For instance, in MIG mode 35, our 200 amp MIG draws. 8211 watts or 7 amps at 230 V. It has a total of 41 votes. At 230 V, 7 amps or 9591 watts in stick mode. So, it appears that the generator cannot provide enough output to run the welders at full potential welding power for our larger inverters.

Is it possible to use a spool wire with a weight of 10 pounds?

No, the 155 model does not have this feature. 2lb

Will the US pro welding 15 footer fit on this welder? Where can I get a new welding torch that is longer than the one that came with it?

So, based on the photos, this appears to be a Tweco-style gun, similar to the ones that were used in older Lincolns. Regrettably, you'll have to investigate the back end of the US professional welding gun.

What tig-related accessories am I missing? Is it possible to weld stainless steel with a gas or flux core in a mig machine?

For TIG, you'll need our valved TIG torch, which can weld stainless steel in Mig mode and is listed on our website.

Fantastic piece of equipment! This is a fantastic machine
5/5

It's ideal for what I need.   I investigated a variety of MIG welders. But what drew me to this one was, first and foremost, the fact that it was set in the United States. dual- By connecting to 220 volts, I can raise my amperage above 140 watts.   140 amps would appear to be the case. only comes close to being able to effectively weld a little thicker metal, However, with this device, By connecting to 220 volts, you can get it to 155 degrees Fahrenheit. in case I needed to weld something a little more substantial.     But it was also crucial for me to remember, I was looking for something small and light.   I looked at a lot of mig welders. Welders that operate at 220 volts are much more difficult to transport.     I come from a large family, so I'm always trying to fix things around the house for the kids.     I was sold on trying this machine because it's so simple to move and work with. I'm  I'm very happy with how well it works and how simple it is to use.   The dual voltage is also ideal in case I need to travel to another country. the children's residence, and they I'm unable to connect a 220 volt dryer cord.   I only use 110 when I need to.     I like that I can use flux core if I need to in a pinch. Despite the fact that I prefer mig. I'm trying to come up with all of the things I like about it, but I'm having trouble. It was incredibly easy to connect.   From the time I opened the box until I started welding, I don't think it took me more than 10 minutes.   It's ideal for someone who isn't a pro, doesn't do it on a regular basis, and wants portability.     I'm very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone.

I was very impressed with the excellent technical support and customer service I received from Weldpro, which is a great welder with fantastic tech support
5/5

I had a minor issue with my welder and called Joe, who was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and pleasant to work with. Joe offered me the assistance and information I required. My welder is now operational, and the Weldpro 155 has exceeded my expectations. Having a MIG and ARC welder in one unit is convenient for me. I'm a retired welding instructor, and I think this is one of the best value welders on the market. Excellent customer service and technical support, as well as good quality and performance.

Junk
3/5

I'm a welder who has received certification. This welder, on the other hand, is a complete waste of time. This was brand new when I bought it, and it stopped working within an hour. Do not make a purchase.

All in all, a fantastic machine
5/5

I ran it on 110v and connected it to argon gas to reduce spatter. With argon, it welds very smoothly and has a lot of penetration. I'm excited to put it to use with 220v power. Overall, I'm overjoyed!.

Weldpro 155 is a high-quality welding and cutting machine
4/5

Well, where do I begin? First and foremost, the customer service line is unlike any other; I had some questions prior to purchasing and when I called, I actually spoke to a real person, I believe his name was Joe, and he was very polite and knowledgeable about the welder; secondly, for the price of this machine, you get a lot for your money; and finally, you get a lot for your money. The mig welds better and hotter than my old Lincoln so-called so-called so-called so-called so-called so-called so-called so-called so-called so-called so-called so I'm not lying when I say I'm 175 pounds! It is perfectly capable of running 1/8" 7018 rods, which are a very common and popular rod. The welder comes with a good ground clamp and stinger, but the regulator with flow gauge is a nice touch that they include with the welder. So here's the bad news, which isn't a big deal because the price reflects it: the wire feed housing is plastic, but it works great, and it only holds 2 pound spools, which isn't a big deal. The only issue I have is that if the mig gun breaks, you can't just go to your local welding store and get one for it because it's proprietary to the machine. Other than that, this machine is very quiet, smooth, and capable of doing some pretty heavy duty welding. I recommend it to anyone on a budget or who is just getting started with welding. I can confidently state that I will purchase the Weldpro 200 in the near future, and I may conduct a YouTube review of the 155 because I have yet to find any.

For the garage, this is a great welder! I didn't care for the short length of the leads, but you can buy or make longer ones
4/5

It's light and pleasant. I like that you can use the wire feed to dial it down with thin metal, then switch from 110V to 220V and use a stick to weld 1/4 with 1/8 7018.

MIG is perfect
5/5

Before purchasing this machine, I conducted extensive research. This MIG is equipped with a high-quality regulator and hose. Other machines use a plastic hose pushed into barb fittings Great machine, and I was impressed with the information and knowledge about the MIG I received from tech support.

Welder with a lot of potential
5/5

I used to have a cheap welder that broke down after a few years. When I bought the first one, I had no idea what to look for because I was a novice. br>br>I bought the new one because it could do MIG, core flux wire, and stick welding. br>br>When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. The "add-ons," such as stick holders and a gas gauge, were top-notch. I intended to use the core flux for my application, but it proved to be ineffective due to geometric constraints. So I returned to stick, which, to my surprise, performed far better than the old box. I believe the better weld is due to the fact that it has a voltage setting in addition to the current setting, which limits the power as the stick is raised further away from the weld. br>br>I like this machine because it does exactly what it says it will. It runs without a hitch and performs as expected. I'm no expert, but it appears to work well from what I've seen.
