Gas appliances of this size appear to be the norm in most households. The home improvement store only carries up to 60" (though I'm not sure what the reason is, since you can go 72"/6ft and still meet code), so I purchased it from Amazon.
The item is of excellent quality. The program works well and I'm glad to have found it on Amazon. Hardware stores have not carried these long in their big boxes.
There is no longer any problem with the dryer.
I am very pleased with their performance. My husband loved our new gas dryer because it was just what he wanted.
The one I bought from the hardware store did not fit my dyer because it was too small.
It did not fit a Samsung gas dryer with universal fit.
It is stated on the packaging that the product is 72", but the sample I received in a sealed package was only 48".
I love it!.
