To be safe, go with a 2" od. You should be able to make it 3" by adding some plates.

The following day, it was delivered. Although it appeared to be in good condition, the screw in the crank was extremely difficult to turn. Even after adding oil, I was still having trouble. br> I believe it was not properly turned. The price is too high!.

Sturdy construction Height is 5". On the size, it said 4" on the title, which was misleading. I read the 3" opening after I received it. They have some for 40 dollars that are 3". Anyways. Heavy-duty construction. The clamping rod appears to be a little lighter than it ought to be. It is possible that the machining could be improved. However, in terms of money, it is reasonable. Actual photos, with the last two demonstrating a 2" od setup for a photo. You can't go higher than 2" without inventing a plate that will allow you to go up to 3".
