I immediately upgraded the electrode holder, and I just bought this heavy-duty solid brass ground clamp to replace the light-weight thin sheet metal clamp. It's definitely "overkill" for my 160 amp welder at 400 amps, but for the price and build quality, it's a great deal. For anchoring the cable lead to the clamp, I used a small stainless steel hose clamp instead of the "crimp" type steel band.
