Something isn't right

I'm not sure if I got a bad batch, but the ones I got will not maintain the arc. After a brief arc, it will die. I'm not sure if they got wet or if they're just old, but there's something wrong with them. This is also disappointing because I was in desperate need of them. Oh well, maybe I'll be able to make do with 7018. Buyer beware, there is a faulty batch circulating.

These rods should not be purchased

Unfortunately, I didn't like these rods because they're completely useless, so I went to Home Depot and bought some Lincoln Electric 6013, which ran like butter.

These welding rods are of good quality, and I am pleased with them. They arrived in good condition, dry and undamaged. I would purchase them again, but in a larger box. I simply wanted to put them to the test first.
