Rods should not be placed directly into this container from a rod oven. Before placing the rods into this container, we recommend allowing them to cool to the point where they can be easily handled. Thank you for your inquiry. br>br>
Yes, it will fit if the 30680 is a standard length. For off-road use, I keep three or four different standard welding rods in this case. br>They're all very well-fitting.
They have a lot of fun with it.
China is where it all started.

I'm not sure why there was a divider in the first place, so I took it out to make room for a full 10-person table. 6013 1/8" welding rods in pound quantities Only about 3/4 of the rods would fit with the divider in place.
It does an excellent job of keeping my 7018 dry. It has a large capacity. Solid construction and excellent craftsmanship.
There are four compartments for various types of electrodes, but the dividers can be removed if desired. Simply add a packet of silica gel as a precaution to ensure that everything stays completely dry (though it appears to seal well as is).
It does what it says. I can store about 6-quarts of food in the four separators. Arc rods weighing in at 7 lbs TIG cut to 15" lengths is what I use. It's perfect because you don't have to cut down those long TIG rods.
I bought some HFT rod storage containers and found out after a week that they weren't up to par! As a result, I decided to upgrade, and this device is fantastic. Just make sure it's securely fastened. When I'm welding, I usually forget to do this and just grab a handful with my gloves on and replace the lid without sealing it.
Rod holder of good quality and durability. Divider leaves something to be desired; it only just holds what it claims.
Although the label says "moisture resistant," the one I received was well formed, with a good seal that could be closed fairly tightly. On mine, the quality of the molded items and the finish were both excellent, and they were also quite sturdy. When stuffed and tossed around, it will hold up well. I hadn't considered looking under map cases, but the label suggests it as well. Note: These are identical to others on Amazon, such as the Shark tube, but this one has the Forney name engraved on it and is actually less expensive; choose the one that is less expensive.
It's a very attractive rod holder. I like the dividers, the water-resistant seal, and the space, but I wish it was made of a thicker material because I'm afraid it will crack if I drop it from any height.
