By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
10LB 1/8 6011 Weld Rod is the name of the item.
Simple to work with.
On dirty, rusted, and painted materials, all-position welding and all-purpose rods for deep penetration and fast freezing are used.
Smooth arc wetting and spread with good spatter allowing for quick deposition and flatter contour fillets allowing for faster travel speeds.
Surface preparation is only minimal.
In maintenance and repair applications, it's ideal for galvanized steel and rusted/oily steel.
It's dependable and perfect for AC operation, but it can also be welded in DC.

Questions & Answers

In a 10 pound container, how many rods are there?

Approximately 140 1/8" rods, plus or minus 2"

Is this an E6011 or simply a 6011? Although the title indicates E6011, the images show 6011. ?

The E stands for electrode, and the 6011 refers to the rod type.

Is it possible to use these electrodes on any stick welder? What amperage do they need?

Yes, any stick welder will work with them. The number of amps required is determined by the thickness and hardness of the metal being welded.

Will these work in a 110 volt environment? Wellder?

Yes, they will; I have a 1958 Forney welder that runs on 110 volts and it works flawlessly. They're a great welding rod for general use.

Selected User Reviews For Forney 31210 E6011 Welding Rod, 1/8-Inch, 10-Pound

Welding is good, pooling is nice, but they can burn up quickly at times
5/5

These appear to be just as good as any other rod I've bought. I've bought Menards house brand rods, Lowes Lincoln Rods or electrodes, and a few other off-brand rods and electrodes that I could find locally. These appear to be just as good as any of the others I've tried. They appear to maintain a consistent connection or do not lose ark, resulting in a stronger weld. I've even had these melt to the point where I could almost weld without them arking. br>br>I used these to weld stainless steel to 1/4 steel, and they did a great job. I tried this before and had a hard time; I'm not sure which rods I was using, but these seem to work fine once the amps are set properly.

Welding rod of exceptional quality
5/5

Welding rod that can be used for a variety of tasks. It works wonders on rusted or dirty steel. It has a low slag content, excellent penetration, and is easy to burn. It also puddles well for larger gap filling. I used 1/8" rod on a 3/32 setting, and my small machine handled it perfectly! Despite the fact that I hadn't welded in over 30 years, I was still able to create some amazing welds with this rod!.

It was well worth the money
5/5

These welding rods are just as good as the more expensive ones when it comes to welding. The plastic case is a nice addition, as it keeps the rods dry and prevents them from being damaged.

These are some nice rods
5/5

It's a breeze to strike and the welding is very consistent. These might even be better than Lincoln rods, in my opinion. I'll be purchasing these in the future.
