The shielding is in the stick, not the other way around.
I believe 1/16 is the smallest available. However, arc welding on 1/16 sheet is unlikely. To test it, use the smallest current.

At 60 volts, I used these on my Zenstyle welder. The range is 90A. They work well, but keep an eye on the arc distance. To get more heat, you may need to pull up a little. So far, the welds have held up well under pressure. This package is ideal for people who only weld on a regular basis. However, keep the container dry.
The rods arrived open and should have been sealed by the label, but they weren't because someone opened them before I got them, and the total weight of all rods didn't add up to one.
Doesn't last, flux falls off rods at any setting, don't buy if you weld.
I bought these rods to weld on a go-kart's axle. I would buy from kart a again because it did such a good job.
