I'm not familiar with those alloys in particular - I tested them on 304 and they performed admirably.

Wet stainless electrodes, according to what I've read, do not work well. Mine was not functioning properly. Striking an arc is difficult. At any current, I couldn't keep an arc going. The metal that was deposited was lumpy and easily chipped away. br>br>I'm hoping that a few days in the oven will help to dry them out. Bummed.
I had no trouble starting an arc with 45 amps of DC power. maintaining the momentum I had a soiled piece of SS just to see what it was like. There are no issues. When working with SS, you should only use a specific SS brush! This is an absolute must!! These electrodes are extremely affordable. Welding stainless steel in this manner is the most cost-effective method. By a long shot. For the price, this is the best product on the market!! I WILL MAKE ANOTHER PURCHASE.
These work better on mild steel than traditional rods, and they also work well on stainless steel if the amperage is kept in the 6011 range. I wouldn't buy 6013 or 7018s again if they were cheaper.
This rod is in good working order. In terms of hardware store prices, the price is reasonable.
Like the other rods I've used, this one works fine. I'd purchase it again.
It was a success.
These are welding rods that are simple to burn. On 304 stainless steel, they performed admirably.
