Questions & Answers

A set of instructions didn't come with it The tip of the hot soldering iron is simply dipped in it, isn't ?

Softness is not an attribute of this material. Cover a large area of the tip surface by pushing the hot iron against the material and moving the tip forward and back.

What is the maximum number of applications that this size can handle?

The size of the wire or the item to be tinned will determine how much wire will be needed. Wires between 22 AWG and 16 AWG are being used and I tinned about 75 to 100 of them and I have 25 percent left over

In order to clean my pyrography tips, I use the "02 solder tip clean". In any case, neither item was accompanied by a manual. Is there anyone out there who can ?

Is it necessary to clean the tips of a pyrographer? Burnishing your wood is all you do, right? When soldering, this is very beneficial for heat transfer and for the transfer of solder. As for the tin, it's probably not your cup of tea.

Do these things need to be soldered or is this more of ?

The majority of it is densely forested It looks like a dense, powdery cake. You place a hot iron tip into it, and the tip melts around the tip like solder, and it

The soldering process is made easier by using this
4/5

I'm very happy with this. if you are a new solderer who is having problems trying to get your solder to stick to the iron tip even when you use flux or just generally finding soldering a problem, then try using this tip. In order to use an iron, you must turn it on, let it warm up, then use it. In the tin is a powder that has been compacted When you melt the powder using the soldering iron, it causes it to bubble and coat the soldering iron's tip, giving it a silver shine. When you try soldering, your iron will be much easier to clean, and you will have better control over the solder when you use it.

Pure Sal Almaniac is less expensive than Pure Sal Almaniac due to its superiority
5/5

Sal almanac is already in my arsenal, and I use it to polish both my electronics and stained glass irons, but this one performs far better. Sal almaniac is not the name of this. As a result, it appears that it could be a mix of solder and salt It finishes the solder tip automatically, giving you a nicely tinned one as soon as you remove it from the pot. I am ___________________________________
. . . In my mind, I expected a quantity that was roughly equivalent to what I purchase for five dollars for a 1/4 pound (113 grams) block of salt ammonicat. as opposed to the 20 grams I received I would buy this product again due to how effective it is.

Perfect for hands that are getting older! I really like the stuff you posted
5/5

This is a great way to clean that brassy scrunchie thingy, dip it in this and you're done. The tip is much easier to clean and tin with solder than to clean and tin the entire electrode. It is possible to roll the tip in a bit more if I want more on the tip. Although my hand is a bit shaky at this stage of my life, I'm in my 60s This is a great way to apply tinning.

This is a great tip protector and cleaner! I did find it a little difficult to open the container initially, but I don't tighten it up too tightly, and it can be reopened Open it just fine
4/5

This tinner is just powered solder plus a dry, activated flux or cleaner. In order to keep oxidized and dirty tips clean, this product must be used. Adding this flux at the end of the soldering session can be used to cover the tip during storage as it is not a clean flux, so it won't damage the plating when it has been removed from use or neglect. To tin it with a lead alloy such as SR63Pb37, you will need to increase the heat on your iron by 50degC or more.

What a great stuff this is! My tip cost $30, so I bought a new one
5/5

What a great stuff this is! By saving $30, I could have saved the money. Before spending the $30, you can believe I tried to get that tip back with steel wool and solder but failed. wouldn't say that the old tip looks as good as the new one but it's pretty In the past, it was impossible to use.

What you're recommending is pretty effective
5/5

I am glad that I came across this, I had no idea it was available. What I found here works really well, I didn't have any idea it even existed before I found it. Since I had just learnt to solder, my soldering iron tip had really gotten messed up, and I did not have an extra tip, nor could I find the part number to purchase For the money I thought this would be the best bet if it worked, so I pick up some! It is only I who can tell you how it is. I really like how it works! I was amazed at how well it worked, and how much better my soldering iron looked! This was too good to be true! You've got chemistry on your side! The moment I heard your news, I was This product has been a real game changer for me as it has made a substantial improvement in not only my soldering iron, but also in When your tools operate correctly, you will realize just how much better you will be able to solder! The soldering was new to me, as I was new to electronics. It still hasn't worked for me, but this stuff works!.

I am amazed! Even the most abused tip can be restored using this product
5/5

To speed up the process of tinning my newly purchased tips, I bought this. As expected, everything went just fine. In my previous tip, I could only tin certain sections and the rest was completely black. After taking a bit of steel wool to it and applying this stuff with it, the tin was nicely restored. In that case, I'm keeping my old tip. The product is nice!.

In order to restore the tip on a , I used this method
4/5

I used this recipe to restore the tip on an iron station that's been sitting in the garage for a decade, and it worked pretty well. Initially, it needed a block of sal ammoniac to help it break through the black crust of oxidation, but once that pawned through it, this stuff helped tin it and make it shine. * b r r a t* l y n g I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because it seems like I'll burn through everything There are just a few small compartments on the.
