There are some uses for solder other than for soldering wire and electronic components. You can get copper pipes solder from any good hardware store.
If you mean original, I'm not clear what you mean. I used the giant spool of Kester solder my father bought in 1960 for years! Does it solder as well as the old Kester solder I used in the early 2000's? Without a doubt!

Kester solder is highly recommended by everyone, so I decided to take the plunge. I don't think it's the best solder I've ever used. I agree that it is good solder, but it is not the best. It leaves a much shinier surface than Loctite Multicore, though both are slightly better. As I examined both solders under a microscope at several joints, the Kester had thousands of tiny pits which are not visible to the naked eye, whereas the Loctite had far fewer pits and was shiny when examined under a microscope compared to the Kester. If you compare the joints side by side, the Kester is shiny and you might not notice it unless you viewed it next to the Loctite, but the Loctite is far more shiny. I had to go to the before I could try it. There was no Loctite solder spool with 1lb on Amazon so I used Kester solder in 015. The solder still works just fine, but it's not going to be.
Although I'm not promoting this brand, I've noticed a great improvement in my soldering after switching from 60/40 to 63/37. There is no doubt in my mind that you should It also makes your joints cleaner if you choose a smaller diameter. As you've seen in ads and videos, this is how they make perfect solder joints, and FLUX is always used.
Before ordering, make sure you need something this small before buying it. The soldering is for small surface mount components.
Solder is the substance in question. I love how well it works! It was spun onto the spool just as it came out of the factory. That's just not right. It seems tangled and tangled but it's not really so. Some of the time it can break if it gets caught. I can't believe the solder is so good. . Even though the solder flows well, I will just work around it till it is perfect. As a result, the manufacturer is asking you to spool your solder more neatly.
Since this is not my first roll of solder, there's a chance that it will be a mistake to my knowledge. That means this was definitely not a brand new roll of Basically, it was taped back into its tiny box and kinky, and then it was pulled out and rerolled up again. The lack of professionalism.
There is almost no problem melting the solder in this diameter, it is easy to control and melt. Connects in a clean way. Aside from that, the spool that came with it came loose during shipping, and my solder is all tangled up on it. I have about three strings of it at the moment.
When it is hot, it melts, and it becomes solid when it is cooled.
The Kester Solder is 63/37. The diameter of the hole is 015 mm. I purchased this solder from Amazon US after finding it was hard to find in Australia. This solder specializes in working with SMD and delicate PCB's, and it flows perfectly. It is clean and has no residue. It is a bit pricey, but does the job well.
