You did a great job!
A tacky paste that serves as a good tool for holding tiny components still when using This soldering iron also works well for soldering a package. A 99% IPA cleaning solution is easy to use.
Flux that does not require any cleaning is not this. The flux is Rosin Activated and is meant to be cleaned off after soldering is completed. Try 8341 if you have any issues Please use 10ML if you are seeking a NO CLEAN flux paste. Thanks!
That will do the job of cleaning wires before soldering, so yes, this is a great tool.

I replaced two Omron mouse switches with this flux and made the upgrades permanent. This was a wonderful experience with Flux. I used the mouse for five minutes and noticed double clicking, persistent clinking, stuttering, etc. I searched the repair threads and found that flux residue is conductive. I took the mouse apart again and cleaned the contacts There was no problem with either mouse right away.
I experienced a short between pins 2 and 3 of my SSOP IC microcontroller due to the flux. In my mind, the flux would be the last thing to consider. In two weeks, I spent trying to figure out why my PCB was smoking and igniting. Then someone suggested I use my flux after a couple of hundred posts on several forums. If you are cleaning this stuff, please be very careful. The strength of 91% IPA is not enough, apparently.
Having this product on hand is essential if you solder. Rosain flux in solder lines is not enough to get most things through, even properly cleaned solder pads will benefit greatly from a bit The amount of relationships I have made may not seem like much, but I have hundreds and most of them are still in my field. Wear gloves to avoid messy, sticky mess. This stuff is easy to wash our of your hands once you have soap and water on hand. Dish soap does a pretty good job at removing it. It is best to do this work outside and with a fan blowing over your work, since flux builds up in your body and is toxic. It was not fun to suffer from a headache for days.
This is the anti-semitic sector The smoke monster is here! I have never experienced anything like this before! Adding a wire into poor quality solder is more common than reflowing tiny components. The tool is a must for anyone who solders electronic components. The rosin is of the very highest quality!.
A circuit board is rarely contaminated. The solder often didn't flow when it was too hot for me to get it hot enough. As someone told me, I should use flux paste on the wire and connector first. It really makes a big difference in the results. When you heat the paste, the solder will flow into it as soon as it melts. The purpose of flux paste has been explained to me in some detail. You can read it The only thing I know is that using it has made my soldering joints neater, faster,.
In other words, it works pretty well. As a result, it fulfills the purpose it was created for. It would also be highly disappointing if you opened your package and discovered that the package was only half full, or half empty depending on your viewpoint. Either way it would be distressing to find that you have been duped. For the most part, you can depend on it to do what it is supposed to.
My husband was looking for something just like that. Although the container was halfway full of flux, it may not have been completely filled. In other words, it looks a little.
I tested it out in a small project and it was better than I expected since it has a few bad reviews. I am a soldering veteran of over 30 years, and use liquid flux most of the time. This paste is soft and works well.
