Those who use Anderson Power Poles are missing an essential tool
5/5

A Anderson Power Pole is a great electrical connector and is widely used by Amateur (Ham) Radio operators to connect radios to a power source. It has been noted that connections require re-establishing when they need to It was not possible to remove the connectors and reclaim them for reuse while the computer was on. In this way, the connectors were often just put to waste together with the cables. Despite the fact that the connector was still in perfect condition. One of the best additions to an Anderson Power Pole "kit" is this handy tool to remove the connectors. This little tool can be reused and can save a considerable amount of This is a great tool to have in your toolbox.

It doesn't work very well for thick wires bigger than 10AWG, but it's great if you use a 1/16" pin punch
3/5

When I try to insert 10AWG stranded silicone wire with the 45A contacts into the Powerpole housing, it does not work for me at all. I've found that Starrett 1/16 lb. pin punch works just as well on the other hand, so I insert the contact and wire halfway into the housing after inserting the thin end of the pin punch In a nutshell,.

This is the first one I have ever had
5/5

I am an amateur radio operator, which means I use Powerpoles a lot. I did not use this tool due to the fact that it was always expensive and I could use a dental pick for cheaper instead. So, I decided to add this to my tool kit of APPs now that it was a reasonable price. I've tested it and it That's the case, and it Despite the cost, I recommend this guy to others, and I can get used to using him.

Is effective at what it is intended to be
5/5

It does what you'd expect it to do. It would have been better if the "wire slot" had been wider, to accommodate wires that could be plugged into a 45A powerpole, but I can still make it.

It started rusting immediately after use, but worked for a while
3/5

It is a useful tool. Sadly, I was disappointed to realize it was made of rust-proof metal right away.

The last time I did without it, I wondered how I ever survived
5/5

In a nutshell, Using this tool is a breeze. The lugs, which can easily be clicked into place, can also be removed (relatively) easily if the setup needs to be modified. Without it, I would not be able to get by!.

It's been a long time since I needed this
5/5

As I have been using Anderson connectors for the wiring of accessories with 12 volt batteries for a long time, this was needed a long time ago.
