Questions & Answers

Would these be able to be refilled? Would you mind telling me how you did it ?

This is a refillable product. 6.2 oz) Canister of gas. At the Lowe's I found them They are probably available at other hardware stores as well. The Butane canister comes with a long plastic tip with a hole in the middle, and you can see it after taking off the cap. You can view the cutout in the base of the Blazer if you turn it upside down. Upon closer examination, you will see a small metal tip with a hole inside the cutout. Slip the tip of the butane canister over the Blazer tip and affix it to the Make sure they are well connected and shake them together for about 10 times. Once the Blazer begins to get cold, you will notice it. Dismantle the Blazer, recap the Butane canister so that it can be used again when it runs out. Your jaw will drop when you find out how many refills you can get from one Please note If you refill too close to an open flame, make sure you're far enough away from it Make sure that the tips are aligned so that the gas does not enter It's time to stop, realign, and start over I think it's quite easy to do. Hope you have a good time!

How long does it take to heat a metal or glass?

It is true that metals have to be heated to become red. It is the torch that is used to melt the glass, not the heat. This oil can be used to apply to nails and dabs.

This one doesn't have any difference between it and Blazer GB4001 Stingray Butane Torch, Black other than the color? Is that okay?

Black and silver are the colors available for the Stingray There are essentially two models, the Black and the Blue/Teal. Both have sliders and buttons for fuel and flame control* the Black is GB4001 and the Blue/Teal is GB4001-ES There is an original black Blazer called GB2001 that comes only in black, and has a knob for regulating flame & fuel. the flame on it is a little larger as well.

Is it possible to keep the flame lit without holding it?

In short, yes. By using the gas valve lever, you can turn off the flame once it has been lit. As a free-standing website, it has proven to be very useful For soldering, use a torch standing upright. I have used several cheap "clickers" but I always need to remind myself to let go of the trigger when I use them!

As of now, I really like it! Those who make jewelry should check this out
5/5

The torch will be an enjoyable tool to use. I was able to fill this torch with the Blazer butane I have thanks to the metal nozzle on the can - unlike many other torches I've tried. Use any of the plastic alternative nozzles that come with the butane without using the plastic alternative nozzles. This has made it easier for customers to fill out There should be no spritzing of Due to the metal body of the torch, I could feel the metal getting cooler as the butane heated up the area where my hand was holding the flame. Due to this, I was able to judge at what point it was full without as much filling as other people do. In the rear of the torch (at the bottom), the red 'Lock' switch locks the ignition button to prevent accidental operation, preventing relighting The problem is that You can easily disengage this button, which is why, if you have children of any age, you should keep it out of the reach of them. Light the torch by holding the metal ignition button near the back (round) while holding it in place, but, once lighted, you can let go of the button and it will stay lit. I have to put some pressure on myself to engage with It is possible to lock the torch on my old MicroTorch via a separate switch Once the ignition is turned off, there is no need to press the switch again. It would be great if it worked like this, but- The best thing about my job is I don't have a problem with how the Blazer functions. By sliding the red switch up and down at the top, the amount of butane fed to the machine can be adjusted. It is pointing right to left, away from you, with the torch aimed away from you Add +1. By sliding this all the way down to the minus sign, the torch is turned off. It is only important to make sure the sign is fully on minus otherwise it could As of now, I haven't run into any problems. *** It lights as it should every time I light it up, and it's hotter than my old MicroTorch that I've had for many years.

This is a fantastic option for small jewelry projects
5/5

My acetylene/air torch has a smaller fire and I needed something to use with it. I've had a lot of fun with this torch. Since I have been using it for the past 6 months, I have not had any problems with it. I tried another butane torch a few years ago but had problems with it. It can be recommended for those who have a Little or Big Smith torch setup and need a torch that is easy to use but still a little bit more precise. Likewise, it is recommended for beginners who are intimidated by the Big Torches or who do not wish to spend much money on such an elaborate Torches like this one are ideal for tasks of a small to medium size. If you're interested in soldering for the first time, this is the tool for you. It's inexpensive, easy to use and gives you the confidence you need.

There was no consistency in I cannot recommend it
3/5

I have updated This torch has been in my possession for just about 2 years now (plus or minus 2 weeks or so) and it simply no longer works The lighter functions as a lighter, but I need a torch, not a lighter. has yet to ignite easily after two years of light daily use. I don't know, 2 years of very casual use isn't enough. Furthermore, it is nearly twice as expensive as it was just a few It's worth it. It is possible for the manufacturer. Should someone read this, I am more than willing to ship it to someone who can look at it or replace it. This is what the original review (summer, 2018) said For me, this was the second unit I purchased, as my son left the first out in the rain and it In any case, I have now used both of them, and I find the first one to be significantly superior to the one I currently use. would guess it has something to do with their quality control, as they operate Aside from that, I bought the exact same one again because I thought it was so good. A low setting is not possible because the flame completely extinguishes itself when you get below half the intensity. A disappointment, since the first one failed to do so. As well as being harder to ignite, the second one is also more complicated. As with the first, it did not work out. There may be a defect in mine, but I'm not sure. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this mini torch, nor would I recommend any other to you.

For tasks related to vaping, outstanding performance was evident
5/5

It is important for me to use a torch while I vape Various tasks related to heating coils, torching stainless steel mesh and wick, and other similar jobs. To get started, I bought one of those cheap $8 torches that look like oversized lighters. Though it did work somewhat, the adjustment of the flame was not good, it was difficult to ignite, and the flame would frequently flicker The Blazer is the choice I made after looking at a few options. This model and the 2001 model are the two I'm interested in. The price difference and shorter flame length made this better suited for precision work, and the length of the flame also makes it more cost effective for me. It's very good.

I'm very pleased with how it turned out. Sparks ignite on their own every time, the flame can be adjusted easily, and the foot keeps it steady so you don't even have to use your hands. A majority of the structure is made of metal, which gives it a solid feel. Having the locking button is a plus as well. This ensures that no gas escapes when the toolbox or bin is being carried. In spite of the fact that it may seem like overkill for basic torching activities, good tools make the job go so much faster This mini torch is highly recommended for anyone with a need for one.
