You may be able to get your hair dryer to move over the phone while setting it at the lowest setting possible. It's best to let the surface cool completely and then verify that it's working. Do not ever ever ever use a sharp metal tool to remove the screen protector. A thick playing card or business card will do the trick. Then you can use a flat credit card, such as an average credit card, when you have no luck with this.
It is important to select the proper heat gun attachment and adjust the temperature setting as per the user manual. Before working with the heat gun, be sure to wear protective gloves to prevent any injuries to your hands.

IS THIS UL approved office unit? The UL stamp did not appear to me, or I might have missed it. I AM LUCKY TO NOT have been hurt.
So that's all I have to say. Except for that, everything else is perfect.
The unit gets very hot very fast since it is used with Then and only then does it need to do what I need it to do. This is a very well designed device, and the nice case makes a big difference since I don't use it every day. It is convenient that this appliance can stand on its head with no finger on the button so that you can turn fragile or sensitive items while in the heat with both hands. This carry case is pretty flimsy, and I think I broke the handle by looking at it the wrong way. Carrying a case was critical to my decision, since I have had heat guns and attachments rattling around in the wild before, and I prefer to keep tools and components separate. Also, from a first glance, it does not appear as though the temperature control adjustment dial is very accurate or adjustable. I think it's a nice cheap kit, but it's kind of an ending. My expectations were low and I was not expecting much from the case, however, if it can't last a weekend on my porch I will have to find another residence.
It took me more time than I expected to look for alternatives to the heat gun. The heat gun I wanted had a case and was of good quality. This kit came with a case and a few accessories, which are usually not worth the incremental cost of the "accessories. " I was not sold on the usual "accessories" that make the kits X or Y number of pieces. I like the way it is made for what it is (plastic) and how the heat gun works. As for how well it works for what I need it for (shrink tubing), I am quite pleased with it.
I am so sick and tired of smoking. The smoke of smoke of smoke of smoke of smoke of smoke. As I thought I was upset with the broken box (that is easily broken), I was wrong. When I turned the gun on, I realized my main concern is nothing to do with the box. A smoke and a stench fill this machine. There can be no safety in this. As a buyer, I shouldn't trust a business that maintains a Hotmail account instead of having its own domain, but how was I to know any of this before placing my order?.
The only thing I don't like about it is how cheaply made the connector pieces are, they're hard to hold together. I have had it for only a few days, but so far it has been pretty good for the price.
