These Velcro ties can be cut to any size, making them extremely adaptable. Before a few storms, they worked well for securing plant cages together for added stability, and everything stayed upright despite high winds (gusts of 80 mph). Because of the durability of the Velcro, the pieces have lasted for several seasons. When the season is over, I simply recoil and store until the following year. This Amazon listing has a large supply, which is ideal for the gardener who loves to plant. In general, this is a must-have for the garden! In addition, I've made use of it for cord management. It's designed for cable management, and it does a good job of it.
These are the best of the best! This product is extremely useful for a variety of household tasks! I use them for the following things: br>br> br>1) my crinkle broomstick skirts br>2) my electrical cords twisted and securedbr>3) holding everything togetherbr>4) rolled wrapping paperbr>5) coffee bean bags - 6) wrap around spools of ribbon and fabric strips to keep them from unspoolingbr>7) holding bouquet of flowers together before wrapping the stems with pretty paper or fabricbr>8) someday, I'll use this product for the intended purpose of tying plants, but my thumb is so brown that nothing grows tall enough to stake:.
You'll be able to use them over and over. For example, on my quad, I use them to tie up tomato plants. Every year, there are more pods. I simply re-planted the plants after pulling them out for fall cleanup. Reattach the ties to their supports and store them until the new year. Otherwise, I remove them from other types of plant supports and store them in my garden shed's storage bin. ready to be re-created using in the upcoming season br>br>Another attractive feature is the green color. blends in with the garden's greenery They're the ideal tomato plant color. Other plants, such as rose vines, would benefit from a darker color. That would be fantastic. Also, compared to buying one at a time at the garden center (if and when I can find them! ), this was a fantastic deal.
I had previously purchased it from Walmart, but they didn't always have it, so I looked for it on Amazon. The Velcro is very secure. It's been used for plants in the past, but this year it'll be used for Christmas decorations.
This tape comes in handy in the garden for tying up and supporting plants, so I always have a roll on hand. It's simple to set up, reposition, and use. I've used it to 'train' small branches, loosening the loop as the wood bends. The tape is different shades of green on the front and back. Choose whether to face outwards or inwards to blend in with your plants. I use it to coil and secure all kinds of cords and cables when I'm not in the garden. It's especially useful in my computer area, where all of the cables dangle from the back of my desk and create an unsightly tangle on the floor. This cut- Fit product neatly tames them for a fraction of the cost of precut lengths. .
It's what I use to hold my plants in place. It's what I use to keep extension cords wrapped when I put them away, or to bind up the excess electrical cord hanging behind furniture (the dust-bunny-proof version). cord snarl is being caught! It doesn't scratch, can be adjusted, and reused, so I use it to hold Christmas garland on the stair banister, porch rails, or light post. In comparison to the hardware store (if I could even find it), this was a fantastic deal. ) I didn't need all of it, but I shared it with my family.
Staking multiple plants is much faster with this tool than with string. br>It sticks to the surface nicely. br>Difficult to wrap around very thin stems because such a small piece was required. br>Most foliage blends into the color. So much so that if you dop a piece, you'll almost certainly never find it again1br>Plants are unlikely to be harmed.
Re- usable: This season, I've already switched it over from peonies to lilies. Garden supplies such as cords, stakes, and plant labels are kept together for easy storage.
It is both durable and adaptable. It is re-usable. It doesn't harm the plants in any way. I'm not sure how else to put it. I've been using it for years and it's a fantastic tool.
