Morris Products (www dot morrisproducts dot com), an electrical and lighting products manufacturer/wholesaler based in Queensbury, New York, sells this booklet of adhesive wire markers and matching terminal markers (Part Number 21256). They have adhesive wire markers in Dupont Tyvek (a high-density polyethylene) and Dupont Tyvek (a high-density polyethylene) as well as other materials. vinyl cloth or high-density polyethylene fibers Tyvek and vinyl cloth perform similarly in terms of oil, water, abrasion, and tearing resistance, and are both suitable for use from - The temperature ranges from 40 to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. The acrylic adhesive on vinyl cloth markers is more expensive than the rubberized adhesive on Tyvek markers, which are used in this booklet. I'm not sure whether Morris Products makes this booklet in the United States or if it's imported. The booklet, which measures 3 3/8 inches by 5 5/8 inches and contains ten sheets of markers, is quite small. There are 45 different letters, numbers, and symbols (A-Z) on each sheet. Z, 0- 15, as well as, There are 450 markers in total in the booklet (,/). Each letter, number, or symbol is packaged in a three-part strip (one character and two three-character strips). sets of characters). The single character sticker appears to be a device identifier, whereas the two three-character stickers appear to be a device identifier. Wire wrap identifiers are found in character sections. The single character sticker is about a quarter of an inch square in size. The 3- The character strip measures 1/4" wide by 5/8" long. br>br>Alright, these are some pretty good wire markers. They do a good job of sticking. They aren't being resurrected. usable. If you need to re-use them, you'll have to cut them off. Make a label for a wire, keeping in mind that they are TINY. To read the label and match the device ID, you'll need to be close to the wire and the device. These are NOT a good solution if you simply want to label some AC power cords that run into a power strip. Dotz cord identifiers might be a better option. In general, this type of small Tyvek marker is useful for labeling very thin wires, such as those found on the ubiquitous "cube" AC adapters, or for keeping wire bundles organized during installation. They're a five-star product for certain wire labeling applications, but think about your specific needs before ordering. Is it really necessary to have such small markers?.
The labels are made of Tyvek, which is similar to the material used in wristbands at amusement parks and other venues. There are 10 sheets of labels, each with a single letter/digit/symbol and two labels that repeat the letter/digit/symbol three times. They contain the entire alphabet as well as numbers ranging from 0 to 999. 15 as well as the " ", "- " and "/"symbols are two different types of symbols. Although they are resistant to most liquids, you should cover them with clear heat shrink if they will be exposed to liquids or heat. They didn't stay on very well for one user, but if you apply them to a clean surface with cleanish hands, everything should be fine. All- All in all, a fantastic piece of work.
br>They're fantastic and exactly what I was looking for.
I was hesitant to buy these because they were so expensive. They're amazing, as it turns out. You can tear off a single number or the entire strip to make a flag on your wire; it's an excellent product!.
jobs that involve rewiring These markers, unlike paper tape, will last for decades and can be used for future wiring repairs and troubleshooting. I like that I can use these to label factory wiring using the same wire labels as the original wiring diagrams.
I finally misplaced the id label pack I used to have when I worked in Electronics 50 years ago. I started looking for something similar on Amazon because I couldn't find anything similar in stores. Wasn't it surprising that I came across it? I used to mark just about everything I dismantled, but these days it's mostly vacuum hoses on cars.
Excellent item.
