Selected User Reviews For Brother QL-1110NWB Wide Format, Postage and Barcode Professional Thermal Label Printer with Wireless Connectivity
It's ideal for Poshmark. Wireless printing is possible! I did a lot of research on the Dymo XL, Rollo, and Brother QL-2000 printers. This item is designated as 1110NWB. I need to print usps 4 X 6 labels because I mostly sell on Poshmark. I run my business almost entirely on my iPhone and rarely use my computer. I wanted to be able to print without having to connect to a computer. The price of this Brother printer is nearly double that of the first two. I first ordered the Rollo printer, but as soon as it arrived, I realized there were a few things that wouldn't work. First, despite the fact that the Rollo is the tiniest of the three, I didn't like how the labels had to sit behind the machine, taking up space I didn't have. Second, it did not print in a bold font. Despite the fact that the barcode was dim, the customer was happy. The return addresses were strewn about and faded. Finally, I made the decision that I didn't want to print address labels on my computer. Note: I called Rollo support (which you must email) before I returned. They called you) to see if you could fix the settings and make the print darker, but it didn't work. br>I decided to go ahead and spend the money on the Brother printer, and I'm so glad I did. I was able to contact customer service directly and have them walk me through the process. I can now print directly from my phone without any issues, which has completely changed my life! No more printing postage on printer paper, folding/cutting out, and taping into packages! I'm sure the other resellers can empathize with my plight! lolbr>The Brother is just more compact with the label roll inside the machine; it prints boldly and perfectly every time! I know I haven't mentioned the Dymo, but after reading/watching a ton of reviews and youtube videos, the paper seems to jam a lot. I hope that this review is useful to other Poshmark, Ebay, Etsy, and other online marketplace sellers. I couldn't find much information about whether or not this printer was Poshmark compatible. Only the other big selling platforms are listed on Brother Customer Service's compatible server list, not PM. So I'm here to tell you that it works and that it's well worth the money! Just make sure to get the labels with the brothers' names on them. You may be tempted to buy 'compatible' 4 x 6 labels, but get the Brother ones instead. They will extend the life of your machine and prevent paper jams if you use them. I hope this information is useful. I felt compelled to share the following information:.
The Dymo 4XL has been in my possession for quite some time. It squandered paper and then went out of business after only a year. Then I bought a Rollo, and while the company provided excellent customer service, the printer is of poor quality, and even after troubleshooting, the print is nearly unreadable. I was planning on purchasing a Zebra ZD420 after the Rollo, but I noticed Brother had released a newer model. When I looked at the specifications, I realized that it had THE BEST specs for the money. Zebra and other high-end manufacturing label makers are the only ones who can do it. Zebra is charging $780 for the same specs! EVERYTHING is in the Brother's possession! Even the labels are cut. My only complaint is that you must purchase their labels, but that is no longer an issue for me. Every week, my Dymo threw away about 15 labels! There are a plethora of typos! I've printed six labels with the Brother printer so far, and it hasn't wasted a single sheet of paper. I'd rather pay for labels that don't get thrown away than for labels that do. The ROLLO took 5 hours to install and wasted 40 LABELS! 40! If everything stays the same, it'll be a success. It is, without a doubt, the most effective label printer available. The labels are always placed in the correct position. There are no streaks in the text, and it is clean and clear. The labels are of good quality and stick to the surface well. This is the new 4x6 label printer that you can't go wrong with! Brother came out with the best printer on the market after Dymo dropped the ball. Although it costs a little more than the Dymo 4XL, you get what you pay for. Wifi, networking, USB, 300 PPI, and a cutter all in one! For the money, these are the best specifications available.
After reading numerous reviews, I decided on this one because I needed to print wirelessly from my iPad, iPhone, and occasionally from my computer. I must say, I'm glad I went with this option! It was simple and quick to set up. I'm a poshmark seller, and I had a few pending sales that required shipping labels. I was very pleased to discover that printing any of my shipping labels was completely trouble-free; the print was crisp, and I love the cutting feature this printer has! I was also excited to use it for eBay, and I must say that I give it 5 stars! ☺️.
I'm using a Mac with OS X 10. 5 and, after months of wasting time trying to get this machine to work, I'm tired of wasting time; I've got a business to run. br>In other words, don't expect this to connect wirelessly. Do you want it to fit on a 4x6" label? Best wishes to you. Is it compatible with FedEx? If you want to convert each label to a pdf and then print it backwards, it might be possible. I imagine you'd have to do it for each, and if you're shipping multiple boxes like I am, I'm not sure how you'd go about it. br>Perhaps it works if you aren't using a Mac; I know a lot of people love this machine, so system compatibility could be the issue. A Mac, on the other hand, isn't a UFO and should function normally. br>I used to own a Rollo, which I foolishly gave away because this brother machine claimed to work wirelessly. Since the day I got the Brother QL-2000, I've been kicking myself. 1110NWB.
Commercial wireless printing is not a viable option. This printer does not print UPS, USPS, or FedEx shipping labels; you will need to edit the labels in the Brother Ptouch editor to get the proper formatting. I spoke with Brother support, and they confirmed that this model has a formatting issue. The item has been returned to a third party for a different purpose.
