I was outside all day and it was great weather. It is cardboard. In the rain, I doubt they would last.

These are not regular.
In the past, I bought this trash container on Amazon directly, and it was shipped in a cardboard box. Upon arrival, they were perfectly clean and intact. This order had no cardboard cover, the flat containers were taped together, and sent as they were While they were in transit, they took a beating. It looked like the outside of the two boxes was pretty damaged. It appears that some of the interior boxes were scraped up as well. Did they come Their condition seems pretty poor. The site is still operational to the best of my knowledge. Cleaning services are available if you need them As long as shipping problems are dealt with, actual containers work fine.
This type of product is very durable. In fact, my parents actually took them apart so that they could reuse them.
As I was trying to tuck the trash bag into the holes on the sides that help hold it on, the bag anyone buys one of these boxes, make sure they are extra careful when putting trash bags inside.
Despite their size, the 42 gallon bags from our local hardware store were not big enough to fit them. As the openings were not big enough to fit 55 gallon bags, we had to go get those.
Using these boxes, along with the lids (ordered separately) for a large outdoor event on our property this summer was ideal.
