On this purchase, I'm unsure who to blame

I purchased this item in the hopes of finding a suitable nightlight for my grandson's 'car themed' room. It seemed like a good idea, and it would fit in nicely with the theme. Well, to my surprise, it arrived in a 16-inch box, and from the picture, it appears to be a fun-sized floor lamp that resembles a traffic light. It's a 16-inch light with a bunch of wires, a 6-inch metal tub, and some kind of metal base, but it's not that. So, basically, it's nothing that's connected to nothing and doesn't do anything. It was a waste of money. I'm not sure I could even give it one star. The only reason I did it was because I enjoy shopping on Amazon. This review would have been very different if it wasn't for the fact that it was written by a woman. a financial blunder.
