NFPA 70E, for example, is a benchmark standard for governments. TRADESAFE products place a high premium on compliance over any other factor. One example of this is the LOTO locks that come as parts of a kit and are sold in packs of six or ten. Every lock has only one key and comes with a different key because it is almost impossible to comply with any safety program if there are multiple keys and if the locks do not all have different keys.

For the price, this is a great deal. My lockout tagout kit was worn out and I needed a new one. The last time I worked there was when I had to return to that company. As part of my new job, I needed this. I want to make sure I am safe when I am not in sight of the controlled device. These are great, I've used all of these before, and I love that they come with tags, locks, and tie wraps, just what I need!.

In this case, the device is not useful. While the lockout device is clamped to the circuit breaker, it is actually dysfunctional. It is not very tight when the screw clamp is down. A slip of the finger easily takes it It appears that no safety equipment is provided, except for a visual.
There is pretty much everything a commercial electrician would need for lockouts and tagouts in this kit. There is only one item it lacks, however, and that is the large lockout breaker Aside from tagging everything you might run into and need to lockout, this will also Lockout Tagout both automatic and manually.
This kit is perfect if you want to maintain compliance with OSHA. The container can be conveniently stored and used. The technicians in my company will buy more.
Two decades in the business and I've never had my own lock out tag out kit but as they say, better safe than sorry.
I am using it to set up our new system at home. Having a compact bag and a relatively large size appeals to me. The system just placed it where it should be by default.
