There are many advantages to this design, including lower cost. This robust metal design is made from steel. As far as industrial use is concerned, it should be fine. Once you know how the lock tab works, it works great. It takes a couple of tries though to figure out how the lock tab works. ***Not a problem with the product, but, I purchased a dozen of these as well as another product at the same time and somehow the two day delivery turned into a week and a half. The items were not all in stock when I ordered, so I don't know if it was Amazon or if it was not available at the time.

It has a good design and is light

It has a good design and is light. As a result of an internal latch that shuts off all hole openings, it can not be opened unless all holes are cleared. The design is clever. A padlock that is too large will not fit the holes since they are not that large. Overall, it is a very good.
