We found it to be very easy to use and the spring did not seem too stiff, so we were able to open it without a problem. This one appears to leak less than the other seven, although it is a bit more expensive.
There is nothing to plug in. Although the nozzle is automatically sealed by the handle/dispensing mechanism to prevent spilling, the handle must be lifted during operation to release the seal. I have had mine for about 3 years, and it is a very safe and reliable gas container. The purchase I made was a great deal for me
Located just above the spout, the fill opening is one of the most prominent features of this Despite being spring loaded, the fill cap is stiff and very hard to remove. For the purpose of catching foreign debris, there is a steel mesh filter just inside the opening.

S. Department of Agriculture still makes them in the old fashion! The item was of good quality. I like how it looks and how well it is While I was filling up at the gas station, I received a compliment from the attendant. The gas can is the first time I've heard someone compliment it! You can easily fill the can and pour from it. I've only found one possible fault, and that's the fact it seals so well. Be careful when you are traveling from high to low elevations, since the seal is so strong that when you open the container, the difference in air pressure can cause the fuel to spill out. After experiencing fuel burp on me during a traverse of the Rockies, I found this out the hard way.
The two fuel cans we just purchased fit multiple sizes on our farm, and we use multiple sizes. The fuel will be mixed with 5 gallons. The pin connecting the pour handle assembly to the handle failed on the second use (it has a riveted end which isn't very Several rivets have been sheared, and the pour assembly is inoperable. Justrite has not yet responded about the warranty issue. Amazon was great in offering a refund, but I'm still waiting for them to respond. Check that pin before you fill Justrite cans with fuel if you purchase them!.
When I saw my neighbor's metal Justrite Accuflow 2, I was immediately drawn to it A beautiful 1/2 gallon can with a shut off valve and a spring-loaded cap, and I couldn't resist purchasing one. Just the right thing to use for filling up my antique motorcycle or snow thrower with ethanol. You can get gasoline for free In addition to the ruggedness of the terrain It's a pleasure to have such a high quality product. It is well worth the cost.
bought this as well, and it fits perfectly around the bottom of the cell phone to protect it if you cut off about 5 7/8 inches. The EPDM Edge Trim Seal for U Channels is 33/64" high X 11/32" wide (3 Feet) in black.
There was something very frustrating about gas cans that tended to leak as they were being used or ones that had "safety" nozzles that stopped gas from flowing. Having read a lot of reviews on the most highly rated products on Amazon, I decided to spend the money on There is no other thing I can say other than that it fixed The program is perfect. The filling cap must be held open during filling because it is sprung into place - that is a complaint from those who complain about it being sprung - The answer is yes. The feature is a safety feature that could prevent the device from meeting As it turns out, it's not that big a It might just be time for you to relax if it frustrates you. A pair of Phillips head screws are required to attach it. Tie down the screws to ensure they are securely fastened. I tightened the screws after finding the connection was leaking, and the leak went away. This was done with a good cordless screwdriver A perfect seal was made with 2A) and the clutch. The judgment call of whether or not the Justrite is overpriced lies with you. This can actually saved me money and disappointment by eliminating the need to continually buy inferior products available at nearly every retail store. It has solved the problems I had with all the useless products available in nearly every retail store and with care I won't need another can. The name of one of my neighbors is Troy - A standard can was used by GM and was furnished by Bilt warranty service provider. Justrite also installed the standard cans. It is highly recommended that you get the Justrite AccuFlow.
The 5-gallon bottle has been in my family for many years, so I decided to purchase the 2-gallon one. You can also purchase a 5 gallon one, which is easier to handle. Taking advantage of the flexible hose and valve makes filling up the tank of the power equipment very easy. To add to their safety, they also have flame arrester screens built right into them.
Plastics like those are a waste of space. In my case, I had a plastic one with a vent that lasted The new ones do not have a vent, and I had one that worked for a period of time before it started leaking and wouldn't seal, so it couldn't be filled. There is no value in them. intend to purchase another one of these in the future.
The crappy plastic gas cans you get at big box stores irritate me as well as other reviewers. As soon as they get wet, they swell, they splash, they tip over easily in the car, and they always spill when you try to dispense them. There are none of those problems with this. This tank should last 20 years and is constructed like a tank.
