Questions & Answers

There was no gas in the can after I turned on the pump. Is there anything you can think of? As a PS I respectfully request that you not respond if you do not have a response. ?

The one we bought was also bought by us. At first, the problem was difficult to resolve, but my husband figured it out. OK, now all you need to do is remove the funnel from the You will turn the gas pump on after you squeeze the yellow plastic handle toward the red metal stationary handle. What are the steps for assembling this? There were no directions for assembly and no obvious way to assemble it. ?

I have no problem with it. Describe what you do in these words. On the gas can, there are two handles of red color. There are two such materials metal and plastic. (Red in color) is the other type of plastic. You need to grab the plastic red handle and then pull it backwards (towards the metal red handle), and the red cover (the red round cover) will come up for you. Here we are. I'm pleased to see how well you're doing. However, this is where it gets a little tricky. You must keep your hand on This goes back a long way. You should then use your other hand to... Put the yellow plastic funnel in your hand. It is then inserted over the gas can opening. Here we are. Feel frustrated from time to time. Due to its small size, the yellow funnel can barely fit There are no loose ends in the fabric. The connection is sealed so fuel does not leak. Let me tell you what is happening now. Being knowledgeable about it. In order to use the yellow funnel, you should 'work' it across the opening of the gas can (a left-to-right motion). As it slides over the opening, it will gradually close. As soon as you have it all the way down (approximately 1 inch)... By this time, the funnel will be in place and the red plastic handle can be released. *BR> *BR> So let's get started. The present moment. Let me tell you how it works. If you want to fill his gas can at the gas station, please remove the yellow funnel from the can. A second time. Adding fuel to the can is the same as refilling it. You will need to pull the red plastic handle back with your other hand while you are holding the nozzle from the gas dispenser. It is possible to set the nozzle into the can and start refueling after the cover has been left up. The cover will automatically return to place once the fuel can is completely filled (be careful not to overfill). Release the plastic red handle to release the cover. It's all right. There are only a few steps left. Replacing the nozzle on the gas dispenser with a new one. Next, you should get back to the fuel can and insert the yellow funnel again. I am aware that the following is a note If the can of fuel is on the ground, always dispense fuel from it. Your gas container must never be refilled from inside the trunk of your vehicle. You just need to get the fuel can in contact with the ground (cement) *br> *br>There you have I am Paul Click here for more Paul Click here for more P. In order to prevent fuel from spilling onto a hot engine (muffler), this yellow funnel was designed. It is for your safety, so keep it in place.

It can be used for kerosene, right?

If you need to use it for kerosene, you can do so. In addition, we do ask that you label them with what you put inside. The blue cans serve as a symbol for The color red A yellow gas tank means diesel, while a blue one means gasoline.

If anyone has used this in California, please let me know When the rubber seal on the gas nozzle seals against the can, how does it work? As a result, the P-value is low because I am unable to get a good seal?

I completely agree with you. Rubber boots are required in California, making this product ineligible to be used there. In order to protect the environment from gas vapors, the boot is designed to prevent them from escaping. There must be a seal between the rubber boot and the can's opening in order for the gas pump to work. This can's lid prevents the rubber boot from reaching the can's opening, so no seal can

Californians are not allowed to use any of these products
3/5

Gas pump nozzles at your gas station come with rubber boots designed to prevent gas vapors from escaping, so the can is useless for this purpose. It is the law in California that the rubber boot be worn. To seal the space between the nozzle and the gas can, the rubber boot is inserted into the hole in the Gas cans are normally sealed with lids, but this one has none. Rather than even getting close to the can, the rubber boot keeps the nozzle from even getting near it. The thing I purchased is useless to me, and it was very expensive. In this case, it would have been better to buy a cheap plastic product rather than an.

Eagle gas cans are heavy duty metal and great to have! Could you please tell me what you think? It drives me crazy having to use plastic junk fuel containers
5/5

They leak at the spout and you have to push the spout down to release the fuel. They can even force the fuel out of a hose and then the hose leaks. What kind of insane person would think it is a good idea to have to hold a 5 gallon, 40-pound bucket. Turn the plastic container upside down and somehow catch or compress the spout to let the fuel out. That was not requested by anyone, was it? I came across this excellent metal gas can made by Eagle and it was very nice to see. An easily reached spring loaded handle opens the spout for flow when it is pulled, and closes it when it is This is a very interesting idea. For accurate filling, this model also features a removable spout/funnel. The 2-digit code worked for me My first attempt will be the 1/2 gallon one, but now I will certainly replace all my broken plastic junk ones with the Eagle UI-90 Containers that are supported by FS. It would be better if you got a 2 depending on your needs The 1/2 gallon one is for when the tractor runs out of fuel, usually as far from the house as possible and some five gallon ones are kept for storing generators and other items.

The can is made of metal and has a plastic handle
3/5

It is made in America, This Eagle gas can is made in the United States. It's got to be nice. However, why would they change its design to have a handle made of plastic? It makes no sense to me. You can easily fill up the can at the gas station, at least in Washington. There is a bit of a challenge attaching the funnel, but it is fitted well so the fuel will not leak through the hole where it connects. I see them as they would have looked A leak is not present. However, seriously, why change the all-metal design to have a handle made of plastic? In fact, I was about to send it back due to that issue. A 5 star can is detracted from by a cheap plastic handle (not the main handle, but the safety release grip) which is not a good handle. Regardless of how broken something is, if it doesn't break There is no plastic on these expensive metal fuel cans made in the USA!.

This is a perfect gasoline can! It holds enough gas to mow our huge lawn and garden with, but its cumbersome size and weight make them awkward to use
5/5

This is the perfect replacement for our huge cans of petrol/gasoline, which are too heavy and awkward for us to use. I've never seen anything like it! After going to the petrol station, filling up the can, and driving home on rough terrain, I came home. On the back of my car, I was certain gasoline would be everywhere. Definitely not! We shake it so tightly that none of the packing materials spilled on the way up our drive! There is another great feature in the yellow funnel! Keeps any from spilling on the ground (meaning it is it remains lightweight but strong enough for us to do our large The funnel / grip opening of the funnel takes a little getting used to, but once you figure it out it's It's my hope that this will help! This is a 5 star rating! A great product and a great seller! Your help is greatly appreciated!.

It is now possible to use a working can
5/5

The gas cans I've used over the years have all been different. It seems like the last model was so bad that every time I need a new one, the EPA complains. They mandated that because the one they mandated prior to that was terrible. the first one that actually First couple of times it's a bit cumbersome (you have to take the funnel off to fill it, and then return it to the bag when you're ready Use it several times and you will be amazed at the results. In 30 years, this is the best can I have ever had. Whenever I use cans, I use red for gas and green for mix (since I don't ever use diesel in them).

It is sturdy, convenient, and I replaced two plastic gas cans with this metal safety can after they began leaking gas
5/5

Investing in this can will pay off in the long run. Within the last five years, I probably have purchased three and possibly four plastic gas cans. They were all found to malfunction and/or leak. When I added up the money spent on those, the price I paid for this solid, convenient gas can would be higher than what I paid. You added a funnel to the funnel which is a great idea. I used this can for the majority of the summer and it made gassing up my mower quick and very clean. There should be no problems with it for many years to come.

A gas can with a best rating! Can you imagine that such a well made can is actually for sale instead of the horrible plastic junk that's the only other option? It doesn't leak, doesn't have weird/ difficult spouts, and the pouring is just effortless
5/5

Filling the tank with clean water is straightforward with the funnel. The plastic funnel is sturdy and easy to put on and remove. There are two of them There is also the possibility of buying a 5 gallon tank, which I also have, if you are looking for a capacity that will fit in most homes.

This is a perfect gas can
5/5

Gas cans like this are fantastic. So I keep mine in the back of my SUV (for my car). The membrane does not appear to be allowing vapors to escape and my nose doesn't seem to be affected. If you are using a gas can for lawn mowers and other equipment, the funnel is okay. However, it should not be used With the funnel attached, the funnel works fine for cars. If the funnel is used without the gas can (hole side up), it works just fine. Here is a good-sized gas can made out of steel. It's very sturdy and has a nice size, in addition to being made of steel. This fuel can will hold 5 gallons of gasoline for an automobile. * I've had alot of people ask me where I got my gas can, and I always A second advantage is that it is not too big to be shipped to an Amazon locker.
