Safe cabinets are constructed of 18-gauge double walls with insulation of 1-1/2" for greater fire protection, 2-Inch leakproof sills for fixing leaks and spills inside the cabinet, lockable and grounding connector, and twin flame arrestor vents of 2-Inches.

The doors of safety cabinets have a double wall, 14-gauge exterior and 18-gauge interior. This means 56% more steel is in the door than competitors. The hinges are heavy duty, welded brass. It is finished with a powder coating in yellow. Using a fork lift truck with a 4 inch high foot allows for easy movement. Designed and manufactured in the United States.

The construction is solid steel and the product is made in the U. S. In the event that it hadn't arrived damaged, I would have given this product a 5-star rating. Upon arrival, the product arrived on a wooden pallet with cardboard corners on all edges. It was then covered There has been damage to the package, but I'm not sure whether it was done by the shipping company or when it was received. Two pictures show paint scrapes. The second picture shows a scrape in the third one. In photo # 4, there was a dent on the left side of the cabinet. I would still recommend this item because it is heavy and still in good working condition. This was not something I was looking to return or exchange. The Customer Service team at Amazon worked with me to apply a discount to keep the item at a discounted price, and I am very satisfied with keeping the item at a reduced price.
