Fits my enormous neanderthal wrist, which is surprising given how difficult it is for me to find items that fit around my frame. I just got it, so I can't comment on how long it will last. I'm relieved that I won't need to change anything to make it work.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IT IS HORRIBLE, IT JUST DOESN'T WORK, AS IF THE WIRE CONNECTING THE STRAP TO THE CLIP WAS JUST A PIECE OF PLASTIC, I BUILT MY COMPUTER ON THE BASE OF TRUST IN THE PRODUCT, AFTER ALL, IT IS IFIXIT, RIGHT? Upon finishing the build, I noticed how flimsy the plastic films made protecting my devices stick to my body when they were supposed to stay on, so I decided to test the strap with a multimeter and sure enough there was no continuity between the clips and straps, so I tested resistance, continuity
TL; IFIXIT IS NOT TO BE PURCHASED, DR.
I've always had good luck with iFixit products, so I almost didn't check for continuity when this one arrived. Almost, because the wire and the snap that connects it to the wrist band don't have an electrical connection.
This small device prevented this, so it does an excellent job. The elastic strap, on the other hand, is a flaw in the design. The first is that I can see it stretching out over time, and the second is that I have small wrists, so I have to cinch it up quite tight to keep it in place. As a result, it's difficult for me to get my hand through the loop. Instead of Velcro, I'd prefer the strap to be. br>br>As a nitpick, I would prefer the cord not to be coiled and instead be a long, straight cord.
I've used this ESD anti-static material in a number of computers. So far, there have been no ESD (static) issues with the wrist strap. Adjustable wristband that fits snugly and comfortably. Due to the wrist strap, all computers booted without a hitch. Regardless, I will touch a computer's metal case before touching any components, but this is a reliable tool for anyone who wants to build a computer.
It fit like a dream and worked very well, no longer needing to slide a few fingers into a "wrist" band and hope for the best lol.
What is the (strap? ) has no connection between the banana plug and the strap snap. If the cable is broken, how can the strap work? Is there anyone checking the quality of this garbage before it is delivered to the customer?.
