An appropriate mounting plate for the winch is not included. You can only fix it to something by securing it with something attached to the rear hook, such as a strap or chain. Portable winches are made to be mobile and are not fixed to one place. If you want to pull a vehicle, you may have to be careful, since the winch has a capacity of only 1000 pounds, and it may not have enough power with a snatch block to double the capacity. see this as more of an atv for landscape work and other construction purposes. The one I have is the best.

Recently I used it on my ATV for moving large fallen branches without a problem. This portable winch is built solidly, and it can handle heavy loads of my work. With this unit, I was able to hoist up new beams for building a new car barn/shed easily. This unit has the capacity to pull/lift 1000 pounds with forward and reverse functions, making the job simple. The winch is powered by a lithium-ion 2Ah battery (I have just found out the new Landworks powered lithium wagon/carts can accept the batteries that come with the winch or a 4Ah battery that I have. As I own an Auger Powerhead from Landworks, all my batteries are now interchangeable between devices -- good synergy!). I love the Locking Knob on this item because it's easy to use, the handle is ergonomic, and the function is very intuitive. My experience with this winch has been excellent, and I will continue to trust this brand.
Is as described in the description. It would have been better if this unit had a remote control, along with an optional solid security plate, which would have made it easier to use, If you did not want to operate it manually. More rear hook options would have also been very good, however they might not really come in handy. I'm making it work by making some changes (not to the unit) to account for my circumstances. It is a great addition to have the lock and unlock feature. It must be $100 or more. The price range is from $70 It's way overpriced for what it is. Generally seems to be of a decent build, not great but not bad either. What do you think of it? Would you buy it again? The truth is that I do not The following is a quote from Mark.
My golden retriever needs this winch to get to and from the flybridge of my boat, so I connect it to a davit and use it. Two of my only complaints are that there is no remote control, so it takes two people to make sure he gets to the bridge, and the controls are cumbersome and hard to see if the winch is hanging from the brackets. Please work with the manufacturer to develop a hand-held remote, and ideally one that can be retrofitted into.
One of its only downsides is that it is a little pricey, and I would prefer it to include two batteries instead of just However, the quality of the item appears to be good and I am sure that it will hold up well over time.
You can get bitten in the rear end once in a while if you ignore bad reviews. As a result of my own choices, I unfortunately became a victim. Initially, the side knob of the winch worked, but after 30 seconds, the side knob jammed.
There is no way 1k will happen. The overall experience was good, but there was.
It helps me to pull shop projects into the back of my Ford Ranger equipped with a ramp several times.
My street glide fits in my toy hauler, so I bought it to help load it. Since sliced bread there has been nothing better.
