It is amazing that they can keep the weight in the same place when the power is removed, even when the weight is heavy. This is what I use to winch up my dock and it holds it in place all winter long! The technical support at Dutton Lainson is amazing, and they will even ship small parts without charging! Written in a clear and straightforward manner, the manuals are easy to understand. Generally speaking, this is not an oriental product. Made and supported in the United States! The quality of the product you receive is determined by the price you pay.
