What is the warranty period on this item and does this product come with one
The reels are unwound and rewound 4 times so I don't think it's the reel. This cable is winded five times, and it gets bundled if you don't keep an eye on how it goes back on the reel. Therefore, if you add more cable, you must be careful in how it is wound. Additionally, if you are pulling a load the machine will only run for a few minutes under a load, then you will have to wait a few minutes for the machine to cool. Most of the cable that comes with the machine is not used by me.
This cable is 1/4 inch in diameter and this pulley is approximately 2 inches in diameter
There is a power cable included in the unit. The highest electric current draw can be 200 amps if you are installing a permanent power line. It would seem that stranded wire of number 6 would be sufficient.

In a nutshell, A winch like this from Bravex allows me to load and unload heavy items with ease. Using a sheet of plywood on my metal ramps, I built a cart with heavy duty wheels. Because of the 12 V hydraulic system on my dump trailer, I was able to adapt the positive and negative connectors to the trailer battery easily. After unboxing and setting up, I was up and running in less than 20 minutes. If you are using the trailer for hauling construction material, it would be easy to damage the winch if it has a plate for holding a Designed to fit directly in to the winch plate area, it requires no connection of any sort. In the event that it is not being used, I can unplug it and keep it in the back of my truck. There is only one thing I would change, and that is to have a longer remote cord which may be possible to use an extension adapter for.
The winch was purchased so that we could pull a Spyder (a 3 wheel motorcycle) inside of our With the first one, there was some electrical problem that would not allow the motor to run no matter what load was applied. It was returned to Amazon and a new one was ordered. Everything has been working well since it arrived today. There was no hesitation when pulling the Spyder (900#) up the ramp into the garage. Would you please tell me the length of the warranty period. It states that there is a one-year warranty in the manual. On the slip of paper that has the customer service information, it says the warranty is for 2 years, but there is a question about the warranty on Amazon stating the seller provides a 5 year warranty. I find it a little If I find out, I hope I won't have to deal with it. It appears that they don't have a phone number their only contact information is an It is still too early to say whether it will work in the long run, but so far it is.
The seller recommends making adjustments for future use if it fails. In order to provide the best performance, electric cable provided with the unit should be 8 gauge. However, it Unless there is a difference in gauge, it is no higher than 10 gauge and possibly even While AC currents are more likely to degrade over long transmission distances, DC currents are otherwise quite robust. Check out DC amperage and distance tables on the web. I have no doubt the vendor is underaging the wire to save money. It is just unfortunate to speak of 20 amps over a distance of 20' through a wire gauge insufficient to handle that amount of.
Having broken the last winch that had been mounted from the factory, I mounted this on the front of my boat trailer. Since it has steel cable instead of the cloth material on my last winch, I like it very much. As I found out after what happened to me, you do not want your boat to break while you are loading it at a busy boat landing. The two inch ratchet straps I had found in my truck allowed me to get it. If not for them, I am not sure what I would have done. I have loaded and unloaded my 20' bayliner capri 1952 with them now twice and everything has been fine. The only con is that it is thin metal and will break easily so you need to take care.
I know many people like this unit, and I know that with just a few uses it can work well, however there are a few things I am going to share with you. The only drawback to this unit is that it does not come with a manual cable release, as I have had with every other winch I have owned. In case you need to pay out a substantial amount of cable for your work, this feature is very useful. Another complaint is the flimsy plastic cover for the electrical connections, which is much less important. If a wire or something was attached to the winch, it would have been easier to keep track of it while you use the device, so that you don't lose track of it when it's time to remove the cable. Despite the negative press, the device is well constructed and rather It's nice to have the removable plate for quick connections so that the winch can be portable and easily used at This pulley, remote, and electrical connections are well constructed the electric connections are keyed so that you won't accidentally connect them should it be dark when you get back to your boat. I think I could have saved a few bucks, but the quality here is worth every penny. In case you will have to pay a lot of cable on a regular basis, you should think about looking somewhere else.
I wired it for a boat trailer, and I think it's well made. I caught some 10 gauge with the truck bed all the way to the It was too short to be attached to the winch handle. We raised the platform of the manual winch to accommodate it. It was a bit of a chore to fish bolts through the winch adn into the platform, but the results are really nice. Take a moment to familiarize yourself with what it can do, then try it. My boat is a 16 foot boat mounted on a truck bed with a 25 horsepower I will edit this later if it causes me problems. had a chance to use it, I can honestly say that it barely cracks This is not my cup of tea (Neither is mine). To align the boat, I set up the crank by hand and then used the remote to move it. It has a plastic cap that I put in my pocket for the remote and power cable connections. A great product. I would definitely recommend it.
This winch is very powerful. It was no trouble at all for me to transport my boat onto the trailer from dry land. In the event that the product is not up to par, the company works with us to resolve the situation.
Installing this winch was easy, and it has so far worked flawlessly. Despite the slow speed, there is no problem. I am concerned about the noise it makes, as there is a grinding sound. The ladder helps me load heavy kayaks onto my pickup truck using the crane on the 'hunters game crane. Unfortunately, it has not been certified and isn't designed for use as a hoist. The original power cable was too short, however, so a replacement was sent quickly.
