It is fairly well built, but be sure you understand the mechanics of what you are purchasing

I was quite impressed by the craftsmanship of the unit I received, which was different from that of some You will need to apply synthetic lubricant to all the surfaces of the design when it arrives because of the high level of mechanical friction it has. In spite of appearing similar to a screw jack, the product is not one. If you try to turn the screw when the platform is flat, you will be unable to turn it. In the case of heavy loads, the screw has an increasing mechanical advantage.

This is the perfect size for tight places and those that are hard to reach

The unit works well, but it may be unable to handle the burden of lifting a 65lb unit onto studs under load. Fits well in small spaces where it's hard to fit a bigger unit. Is able to handle a lot of work.

Using this, I was able to lift some equipment into position. I even used a 75 pound unit and it worked well. The extra large base and top, as well as the fact that it can stand many feet tall when fully expanded, are appealing features.

This is a well-made product. There is a competitive price for this item. This will not work for the application I was looking for, but I don't think this is a knock on the product. If you're going to use this as a lab stand, it will work fine.

The shop guys insisted we keep it so we can use it in other areas since it worked well. It wasn't quite the right size for the place we wanted to use it, but it was still an option.
