The table seems to be lowered in an odd way. Both the table's height and its width can be controlled by the foot pedal. If you want it to be lowered, do you press the pedal up?

The table has two pedals, one for raising it and one for lowering it, so I apologize for the confusion

This is a product we would buy I think this is an excellent Three men were required to raise the load safely on the table that was a good size and could be completed by one person
