My k40 laser is going to use this lift bed as a lift bed, so I just received this and ran it up and down once. As much as my initial impression of this bicycle was astonished at how heavy it is, it is built well and does not have a lot of slop, the top bed stays parallel to the base during the entire ride. A strong thread feels tight and no slack is apparent. No idea how much weight it can hold, but I would say it is capable of holding 30 lbs securely and is quite stable as well. It will take time to see how it holds up, but for the first impressions, compared to cheaper brands, this is something that's worth the extra money.
There is no doubt that this lab Jack is awesome, and it might even hold 55lbs exactly centered, without moving. However, Once I placed the 22lb weight on top of the knob and started to turn it, I realized that the knob might break or bend if I continued to turn it. I don't think it was stable at all. Sorry to hear that (
They can lift motor cycles, so certainly one can lift 25 lbs without sacrificing If you have a 10lb load, I would definitely recommend this.
Macro photography on this platform is my preferred method of taking pictures. It is easy to raise and lower the platform. The parts are tight and thick so that there is no wobble or tilt.
I don't remember if there was a label that indicated where it was made, but it doesn't seem rusty, oily, or sharp to me. This is a very clear, clean, and well-made piece of artwork. My purpose for using it is to capture macro photographs, and it is the perfect product for that.
Holds up to 20 pounds. The flat surface on one of the flat plates didn't fit flat and wobbled when placed on a flat plate It can easily be flattened with a little pressure on the other side.
The jack is well fabricated and stable. an upright position and must be able to sustain at least 60 pounds. Smooth and continuous motion is evident.
The product is of good quality and well-made I made it.
