They both function perfectly after I removed the threaded rod and replaced it with extension springs for a spring loaded table. They are both very smooth to operate.

This is the latest update for April 7, 2020 The fact that I have purchased a silver version to compare this item against is what has raised this to a 5 star rating. The confusing stock photos imply you're getting three lifts, so I am taking away 1 star from your score. There's a reason blue ones are more expensive. The build quality is more sturdy and the buttons are a lot thicker. You only get one, so I know why these are more expensive. Comparing the stock photos is as simple as looking at them closely. There are thin rails and tops on the silver ones. I realized I've never really appreciated this blue one as much as I thought I had. In addition, because it's an 8x8" it's quite a bargain to get it in the Warehouse for $26. This is the original review There are three lifts in the picture, so what the heck, I'm going to see what surprises are in store. sorry to inform you that there was only one lift in the package. As such, this listing cannot be compared to others in terms of value for money. It's a good product in terms of quality. The problem with this is that it might not be twice as good as other 8x8 boards. Most others seem to be between $20 and $30. Thus, $52 would not be worth it for me. The Amazon Warehouse had it for $26 with 3 lifts, so that's what I hoped for. I love it! There was another individual who returned it as they probably thought they were getting three lifts. In terms of quality, I am pleased with I find it to be of good quality. Obviously, I am not buying this to use in a lab or for a scientific experiment, so I can't offer any opinions on that. I'm basically buying it to hold long pieces of wood when I'm drilling them out. I would, for example, put a very long 2x4 on top of a nearby table with some scrap wood. Instead of guessing with endless scraps and books, I will have a lift that is 100% level. Having said that, I will need to conduct a bit of research and decide for myself whether or not this lift, which retails for $52, is actually higher quality than the 8x8's that sell for between $20 and.
There is no sign of corrosion or cracking on the jack. The tallest part (with rubber feet) only stands at 6", so it's not even 7 inches high. A 2" wide. In addition, blue oxide is not used in the blue stage like it is shown in the picture. There is a paint job on it. If you use this paint in a lab setting, it will not last. An overall one-star rating is given to it Because the seller intentionally misleads the buyer, this seller has been rated 1 star. As far as I can tell, the seller does not manufacture the product but instead sells what they have. What you receive will probably differ from what I received. ZEROTEST for quality control has not been performed. If you are in a lab setting, you will know what works for you and what does If you are buying something, you should feel that you are getting the exact product that was There is no question that the seller is ignorant of.
This product does appear to work as opposed to a different, far cheaper brand, which I previously purchased but Starting this one was incredibly difficult. It was almost impossible to make the top plate rise. And that was even with no weight applied. After a while I noticed that the higher the top plate is raised, the easier it becomes to raise it even higher. This means that the higher the top plate, the smaller the total area of surfaces rubbing against one another. As they rub, everything is very tightly assembled, which is a good thing. However, you cannot see any evidence of lubrication. That's not a good thing. As part of my lubrication, I used mineral oil to lubricate all moving and rubbing parts. The weight was on top of the plate, so I was able to raise.
With a 6" table saw, a trim router, and a mini drill press, I am building a mini tool bench for my wood shop. To be able to lift and drop the saw blade whenever necessary was important to me. have made a housing for 2 small DC motors attached to the shaft of the saw blade which is mounted the top of this 6" Lab Jack Table Lift Stand. I like the lift mechanism very much it's very sturdy and does not sway at all when fully lifted. Having purchased your product, I am very satisfied with it.
My main reasons for purchasing this lift were that I wanted it to be a low-profile lift AND the feet would adjust in/out to assist in elevating and lowering the chair. appear to show screwed-in feet on the 8"x8" lift that appears in the photos (despite their vague nature). It's a good price for a good product, and the quality is In order to accomplish what I was trying to do, I had to modify the lift I received. My solution was to drill and tap holes in the corners of the table to allow me to adjust its level.
Since I was also adding a honeycomb work table of 22mm thickness, I was concerned about clearance. In order to make it work, I removed the rubber feet and sanded off the round bumps on the knob so it would not hit the base when I turned it. Furthermore, I have added a piece of 5/16 all-metal. I adjusted it outside of the gantry support because the extra width (over the 4" x 4" of the gantry support) makes the table stable. You don't have to worry about wobbling or toppling. The way I have it set up is shown in the pictures.
I believe that this part is correct. However, the hand wheel that I found did not give me enough leverage to lift even 60 pounds. Hexagonal shapes are incorporated into the design for your convenience You can use a wrench and a lever arm to raise the jack smoothly while it is loaded by applying pressure on the nut behind the hand wheel. That feature should be mentioned in the ads of the maker.
The moveable platform I use for Macro Photography is very sturdy and is easy to move. When I ordered it used, I was surprised how stiff the lift mechanism was. However, with some lubrication and exercise, it is now smoothly operating.
