What if I need to lift railroad tie ties with this? Just wondering if the length is sufficient and if the loop is large ?

The tie would sure wrap around the railing if you wrapped it around it. While the loop can be made to fit around it, its dimensions aren't ideal

3600 pounds is the capacity listed on the label. A translated version would not be Listed as a capacity of 1,200 lbs, the manufacturer lists this sling as being able to lift objects up to 33 feet. It is vertical and weighs 950 pounds. I weighed 2,400 lbs. and had a poker face. This is a basket hitch.

Up until now the seller has not been very accurate with the specifications

I got the 2nd sling, it is rated for 1200 vert. , 950 choke, and 3600 basket. I have purchased many new web and wire slings on Amazon in the past. The sling I received was rated at 1200 vert. In the past few months, we developed a vertical liftall product, which is a good product if you can find it at a reasonable price. We have noticed that few of their post lists You can find specs for this sling in the Lifall PDF files online I bought two of them.

These straps are good for light duty work. The tractor I use for this application can only lift around 600 pounds, so this is a sufficient load.

A strap that is the right size

As opposed to a continuous loop, I appreciate the loops that end at each end. My tractor can lift something up with a piece of this when I need it to be the right size. You only need to focus on the workload.

You need to be careful with metal surfaces with a rough surface, as the nylon can easily snag.
