It has been a month since I purchased these. We bought them in order to move around things from the wood stack, as well as I was actually able to use them for the first time when I dealt with moving a lot of 10"x8" We are drying logs approximately 8 to 10 feet long and 12 inches in diameter. The basket is shackled and used in a basket configuration. After about 4 hours of use, moving about 20 logs, the stitching on the black covers for both eyes has almost completely fallen apart It is for this reason that I did not give this review a full five-star rating. It is a fairly nice strap, and so far there have been no stitching issues. Occasionally, the logs can be a bit rough on them, but they've held up quite As well as moving my grading box on and off the trailer, they moved my brush hog so I could work on it as well as a few other heavy metal items to work on.
Materials are strong, and stitching appears to be very well done. With a winch, I was able to lift my 250 lb generator easily with these straps.
This was ordered because it looked good, but it is not what it appears to be. At work, we use a lot of these on construction sites and I always buy them from Harbor Freight, but these things are terrible they are thinner than the seat belt in my Toyota Corolla, and they don't even hold the weight listed it was a quarter of that weight.
It didn't buckle, stretch, yield, make any noises, or tear when I wrapped it around the front crash bar and lifted the car with an engine hoist. Finished the job on time.
Purchasing these straps allowed me to move the differential out of an f250 super duty by lifting and pulling the straps. Those work well for that purpose and I'm sure they will come in handy in the future as well.
Using my skidloader forks, I use the straps to move oddly shaped items. For better or worse, I've used it. Two engines and a large electric motor on a truck bumper made from solid steel. Although the straps have worked for a long period of time, they still look relatively new despite the weight and course nature of the items. They'll be fine for years to come, I'm sure! A motor weighing close to one thousand pounds was likely to be used. I didn't hear any noise from the straps that you would expect from less expensive This product has been purchased in both 6' and 10' lengths, which really helps with lifting oddly If you will be lifting similar objects, these are the ones to choose.
Our most common application is to pull with the straps, and they work great for that.
I have to lift it. As I lift the table saw on to its base, the mobile base will be in my way. Because I didn't want to do it alone, I needed moving straps for my engine hoist. I went to Lowes and they charged $50. When I said "nope" and found these, I changed my mind. BARGAINS LIKE THIS ARE SO RARE!.
