My lathe and mill were easily moved with these and they worked really It is best to sweep the floor before using the machine since metal shavings like to adhere to the surface of the wheels. The only reason I gave this a 4 star was that one unit came with the pad loose. In terms of the rubber pads coming loose in use, I was routinely told to place a piece of wood between any machine and skates to prevent slipping. Having said that, I never had a problem with the rubber pads coming loose.

It was impossible for me to move large machinery with a forklift because it was too long for it. Using a fork lift, we lifted this unit from the other end by sliding the supports under one side of the unit. I use it all the time. There seems to be a decent quality to these. They have been helpful a number of times since then and we have not encountered any problems.

The equipment was moved into the new shop by four people. I was able to do it easily. I have had tank style movers in the past. This makes these very smooth thanks to the wheels. I will be moving 6 of these along with a 30000# machine. Their love is contagious.

Purchase is a bad idea. The four of them that were just like that were out of eight that we bought. The service is not recommended in any way.
